Oh, I found it. In the FAQ post. D'oh!

After taking a bread from the series since before Christmas (I think), I've gone back to Peril's Gate. I'm enjoying it all over again, but I think I'll manage it better reading at my own rate rather than trying to fit to an outside reading schedule. Happily, all the series messages are there waiting for me to read and I will do so as I progress onwards.

Also still slowly working my way through the Isaac Asimov's Robot City: Robots & Aliens series (on book 4), and having a blast with Patton Oswalt's Zombie Spaceship Wasteland.
Finished The Gripping Hand by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle while flying (and sitting in airports) from WI to New Orleans. Will start Janny's Peril's Gate on my return Sunday (yes, I know that will be May...)
I've been quiet here for a few weeks, mostly due to deadlines I had to meet earlier this month. Thanks to Candiss for keeping the group running while I was out! Here's what I've been reading this month:
- Vegas Knights by Matt Forbeck (***) - a fun magic-in-Vegas caper that was marred by a somewhat silly ending
- Soft Apocalypse by Will McIntosh (****) - beautiful, dark near-future dystopia
- The Quantum Thief by Hannu Rajaniemi (****) - inventive and entertaining SF novel
- Haven by Joel Shepherd (***) - final novel in a great fantasy series, but not as good as the previous books in the series
- Memory by Lois McMaster Bujold (****) - this one was a reread --- needed some comfort reading when I was down with the flu earlier this week.
- and right now I'm reading Embedded by Dan Abnett

I got Soft Apocalypse through Barnes & Noble's Free Friday promotion for the Nook yesterday. I had to start it right away and I'm really impressed so far.
