I just started The Red Siren by M.L. Tyndall. I love this author and am looking forward to another great adventure at sea!
I've just finished Mine Is the Night: A Novel by Liz Curtis Higgs. I didn't love it quite as much as the first book, Here Burns My Candle, but it was still an excellent book. Haven't started anything new yet as I have an essay to work on and don't want to get distracted!
I am reading Hide In Plain Sight (The Three Sisters Inn Series #1) by Marta Perry This is the 1st book I have read by this author. I am 68% done with it and i know i will be reading the next book in this series.
I plan on reading The Silent Governess by Julie Klassen. It's been on my to be read list for a while, and I was thrilled to find it at the library.

I loved Here Burns My Candle, but others have said that its the better of the two. Higgs is probably one of my favorite authors. You should definitely read her books set in Scotland.
I'm reading What the Heart Sees: A Collection of Amish Romances by Kathleen Fuller on my Kindle and The Fine Art of Insincerity: A Novel by Angela Elwell Hunt on paperback. The first is three Amish romance novellas - I really enjoyed the first but the second is just so-so. The second book is Christian Southern chick-lit (I guess that's the best way to describe it!) and quite enjoyable so far. My first book from this author.Myra Beth, I will definitely be reading more from Liz Curtis Higgs!
Kristy, how are you finding Lady in the Mist?
I finished The Fine Art of Insincerity: A Novel very quickly and I'm now on to Lady in the Mist by Laurie Alice Eakes.
I am reading Menu for Romance by Kaye Dacus. Its pretty good. It was a little slow at first but I am enjoying it quite a bit.
So far this month I have read "Sarah's Gift" by Marta Perry; "The Journey" by Wanda Brunstetter; "The Amish Midwife" by Clark and Gould;
and Now "Ella's Wish" by Jerry Eicher.

I hope I can find Head in the Clouds at the library.

A Heart Most Worthy is sitting on my shelf waiting to be read! Did you like it? How are you liking The Silent Governess? I recently read that one as well.
I just finished The Silent Governess last night! It is now one of my favorites books. I love the way Klassen writes, a little mystery (thankfully not too much, as I am one of those people who keep their lights on 24/7 for a week after seeing a scary movie) combined with romance and historical references. Usually, it seems, most books are predictable, but I was pleasantly surprised and "slightly" shocked at who the veiled woman was. I didn't like her and wanted her out of the picture :) Klassen seems to have a way to keep up the mystery until the end (I also read The Girl in the Gatehouse by her). I also liked a Heart Most Worthy. She gave a lot of insight into the Italian immigration, but found ways for the characters to overcome their prejudices (or at least, start to (e.g., the witch).
I just started reading
. I have not been able to put this book down all day. I have been reading whille calling accounts at work. If you have not read and have a Kindle it is Free.

Like you, I was happy with who the veiled woman was. It was a pleasant little mystery to watch unfold. I really want to read her other novels!
I'm currently reading Mine Is the Night: A Novel. It's different from the first book...not better or worse, just not as quite as exciting. It's still a good read though.
I'm currently reading In All Things by Shawna K. Williams. It's a great sequel to No Other. Both are set in post WWII Texas. Loving it so far.
