Gwennie (blessedwannab) It's that time!

Please post any book you think may be good candidate for our much anticipated May Group Read. Please avoid selecting any book that is not the first in a series. Not everyone in the group may have read the previous books.

This will last until the evening of April 8th, (Until just before I go night-night, haha). At which time I will compile all submissions into a voting poll.

Let the fun begin!

Laura (highlandhussy) | 16 comments I'm down with the Iron Duke.

Or what about Demon Angel (The Guardians, #1) by Meljean Brook

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Right now it's just one book. Do you want me to put down Dark Seduction as a nomination?

message 11: by Marcella (new)

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments Sure why not. I have wanted to read this series for a while.

message 14: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Apr 01, 2011 01:32PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Series nominations are fine, but please make sure the nomination is for the first book in a series. A series already in progress won't work because it's assuming everyone has read up to that point already.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Wendy F wrote: "Some good picks. I have Iron Duke on my TBR already."

Same.

message 16: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I'm going to nominate With Good Behavior by Jennifer Lane .

message 17: by Kristen (new)

Kristen (kristen12592) I nominate Child of the Morning by Pauline Gedge. You really get attached to the characters!

message 18: by Leea (new)

Leea How about Storm of Visions (The Chosen Ones, #1) by Christina Dodd I read her other series and loved them...

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I was going to go through my list and nominate one, but there's a couple up here already I wouldn't mind voting for.

This is on my tbr list! Been wanting to get to it in this lifetime. Guess it will be what we are in the mood for at the moment huh.

I think for our first group read, we should keep it simple and stick to one book. If it works out well, we could always bump it up to two books for more variety, maybe even pick monthly genres or themes. How does that sound?

We probably should consider cutting off the nominations early if we start getting too big of a number, so we don't have to make more than one poll?

I'll have to check and see what the max number for a poll is...
