Carly You really can't but this is not the greatest collection of his work. Money would be well spent on any one of his many other collections.

Old-Barbarossa Just read with a Scottish accent to get the rhyme scheme or it can jar at times.

Rozzer Scottish accent for Byron? What am I missing?

Joseph Pfeffer You can't go wrong with Byron. He's my guiding star, because he was the greatest romantic and at the same time he laughed at romanticism and at himself for being a romantic, as though Alexander Pope lived somewhere within. He also seems startlingly postmodern, because in the middle of an "epic" like Don Juan he introjects wry comments about himself writing the poem. He broke the fourth wall long before it became fashionable.

Chloe You can never, ever go wrong with Byron. He is the rock star of the Romantic movement. His poetry is flawless. Also, the man took a live bear to college and lived with it for a while. How could a man who lived with a bear at Oxford not be ridiculously awesome?

MizziQ His writing is quite chilling and very inspiring in a strange way. One of my favorites!

LE Not only was he extremely talented, but he was also tremendously handsome; I saw his portrait at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Mesmerising!
