I really enjoyed it. The main character Dawn took me a while to get used to, but once I warmed up to her, I was able to get into it. It has a lot of action and intrigue and there's also a few really sweet romantic parts as well:)

I finished CoLS and yes it took me forever to get through because I found it slow and the chapter size was so massive an issue for me I'd only read like a chapter a day

I decided to push to the side because after 68 pages in I still wasn't interested so I'm reading right now and I'm really enjoying it so far:)

That sucks, pre-ordering is always a little bit of a mixed bag, sometimes books come early and sometimes they're late, but hopefully you have something good to read while you wait:)

@Sharon I finished Lies Beneath and it was very good. It was interesting to read about vicious, murderous mermaids, but the story was sweet and darkly romantic too.

Yes Lord! Kay is right! is absolutely the best book I have read in a verrrry long time. I CANNOT WAIT til August for Onyx. I know Kay has already read it so tell us Kay...Is it as good as Obsidian?!!
