I guess it's supposed to be funny?

And please..
:::Scoffs::: Everyone knows it would be the villains watching too much DirectTV, not the noble hero!

"Apollo frets that, as leaders, maybe they have an obligation to examine their own decisions and consider every angle until they become paralyzed with self-doubt and regret and are unable to make any decision for fear it's the wrong one. It's like someone took the entire Democratic Party and distilled it into one guy."
(thanks to Scott Clemans, old college friend)

Not really related to the OP, but since we're talking about jewelry commercials...
Around Valentine's day, K-Mart had a commercial featuring a couple sitting on the couch watching tv, and the woman grabbed the remote control and proceeded to rewind the commercial they were watching over and over, in order to not-so-subtly hint at her husband that she wanted what was on the television.
What was the item? A piece of crap 19.99 heart necklace.
Guys...I'm pretty sure no woman wants a K-Mart necklace. Especially not a 20 dollar heart. I'd rather never have a guy pick out jewelry for me anyway. It's such a crapshoot that someone's going to pick the exact thing you want.
