The blurb for Spent says it's the confession of a real life shopoholic. You know how Becky is hilariously awesome? Well, Avis is just depressing. Plus the timeline was all out of sorts. One chapter she's talking about how she's going to have to figure out how to pay the rent now that she and her boyfriend have broken up; the next she's freaking out about not being able to get pregnant. I was so confused. Turns out the can't have babies thing happened back when she was still with the guy. Someone should've edited for continuity.

And you might like it better than I did now that you know not to expect any Becky awesomeness. I'm actually down to 1 more - there's two I'm done with but can't count until I finish this last book. It's the one with an author that shares one of your names - I've tried ones that shared middle or last, but they were so awful that I couldn't even finish them. So now I've got one for first name, and I'll see if I can get through it this week...
