not the historical; how is the print?

message 152: by Camy (new)

Camy (camytang) | 103 comments The print is about the same as the regular Love Inspired series. Can you read on a computer? If you buy the ebook format, you can increase the size of the font on the screen. I have to do that because of my poor eyesight.

I just compared the print of my most recent LIH and LI to a 12 pt New Times Roman printed document. The print is slightly smaller. I love reading the books on my Kindle because I can make the font whatever size I want and it's like reading paper.

Thanks Jen....it's been a rough few weeks. This means a lot. I just have been having a lot of medical problems and disappointments. My pain level is a lot higher, each day a little worse. We had a gunned robbery at work and I had a gun held to my head. Then my friend committed suicide. I'm having financial problems for paying for school. I'm really struggling with friendships, basically most of my friends have abandoned me. I have gotten one bad thing after another, disappointments too. My doctor's are no longer trying to diagnose me. They feel that it needs no name, that's not important. "We'll just try and kinda treat the pain" I am now on two sleeping pills but ummmm it's after 3am and I'm still up. I have to be up at 7 like always this morning. Do you think they're helping? I had eye surgery, inserting punctal plugs into my tear ducts and I can't cry anymore. That has really been hard on me, as weird as that sounds. I'm a crier lol it really helps me release stress to just get in a good cry and it's been almost a month since I could last cry. I honestly haven't had any good news and it's been tough, so I disappeared for a while. Everytime I try to get back into the swing of things blogging and GR and stuff, something else hits me. So, I'm sorry to have been gone for so long, but that does mean a lot to me. If you want to check out my review it's at:
hcprojectjournal.blogspot.com
Thanks so much and sorry to vent so much but it kinda feels good to get it off my chest lol :)

message 170: by Lyn (new)

Lyn (lyncote) | 218 comments Hannah, so sorry to hear you've been so troubled. Sometimes periods in our lives are like going through horrible storms.
I know that I had periods in my life where I was in pain day and night for years. Pain is not good as a constant "friend."
My advice--just keep putting one food in front of the other and keep asking God for relief. It will come. Believe that. This too shall pass. You will come out on the other side.
But also be aware that not sleeping could trigger you into depression. And perhaps it's time to go to some place like Mayo Clinic where all they do is diagnose cases no one else can figure out. Hugs and more hugs,
Lyn

message 171: by Terri (new)

Jennifer (texasaggieteacher) | 434 comments Aww, Hannah! I wish I could hug you write now...too bad this is just a computer! lol Believe me, I know what it's like to have your world come crashing down around you. You will be in my prayers. And, like everyone has said, you are loved and God will never leave you or forsake you. And, you totally have way more followers than I do, but that's because you write about books. I just write about my boring old self on my blog and keep up with friends and their lives. :D

Carrie Turansky (carrieturansky) | 4 comments Hi Friends, I am new to the group...just learning how to get set up on Goodreads. I am a Love Inspired author, and I've also written novellas for Barbour.

I am currently reading Patty Smith Hall's debut novel for LIH, Hearts in Flight. It's a wonderful story with characters you will love. It's set during WW2 on the home front, and the heroine is a pilot.

Blessings to all and happy reading,
