Janice (jamasc) I haven't read it or I would join in.

message 252: by [deleted user] (new)

It is a pretty quick read if you want to join in.

message 253: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) I've got a few books that have to be read first. I can still join in belatedly.

Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 1970 comments Dorian Gray was my favorite Oscar Wilde story. Read it first in high school and have reread it several times since. Loaded it on my Kindle from public domain.

Hey! I do NOT squish spiders unless they are on my face or near my baby. Otherwise they get a ride on a coaster under a glass to the nearest porch.

Don't forget that if you do updates, GR will chart your progress for you on a graph.

Ha. That book was slow going. See how I was so proud of making it from p. 188 to p. 190?

Would the fountain of your mind were clear again, that I might water an ass at it.

Angela~twistedmind~ (twistedmind) | 538 comments after becoming cross-eyed reading about farting vaginas, spam, sidecar riding, pretty eyed cows and uncle bob, i finally found a reference to 'TWSS'. SHIT!!
i'm of the opinion it stems from 'that's what she said'. (yes, i am well aware my opinion may be quite incorrect). this leads me to a question i have had for some time now. just what the hell does 'that's what she said' refer to, exactly?

We had a discussion of TWSS in another thread and someone linked to a long clip from The Office. I don't know if the term originated there.

TWSS

thanks, barb. i had the impression it was something like that. but, like i said, i'm occasionally incorrect.

i think i'm gonna have'ta start gettin' teased and corrected for using slang and the wrong words and puttin' my damn commas and so on in the wrong place.
i do try, y'all, but sometimes i get in a hurry and just don't pay attention to the little things. just sayin'. but i am amused by how often people are corrected here...........carry on.

Believe it or not, this morning while visiting another site, I pondered that very thing. Heehee. No, really, I did. Anywho, I've been trying all day and I'm doing better, but I'm still finding myself ignoring that old shifty key.
