5/16/11 4 and a bit stars!!!

Oh my...how can Kate resist? Oh yeah, getting together with Curran would not be a good idea for so many reasons, but I really don't see how she can resist! The tension between them continues to grow, as Kate lands in another hellish battle with disgustingly horrible monsters. I devoured this book 'cause I literally couldn't wait to find out what would happen! Very happy to know I have two more in her series (well, one is ALMOST here) that I can read soon!

Happy birthday Nairabell!

I've just finished my fantasy-scifi read, Book of a Thousand Days, I absolutely loved it, 5 stars.

This book was a retelling if a fairytale, that one with the princess trapped in a tower, but with a twist. It was actually the story of the princess' maid, and it was extraordinary. I really loved the main characters and the setting (medieval Mongolia fantasy land), I felt teary and happy at the end, and finished the book thinking wow, I have a new favourite author. :)

I have finished my fantasy-sci fi book on 5/16/11. I gave 5*'s. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite books series. I think I will need to pick up #3 soon to discover what happens next between Drake and Aisling. I love Jim and his snark and the stumbles we take with Aisling as she discovers she is much more powerful than she knows. I love Katie MacAlister's sense of humor. Any series that can talk about jiggling incubus parts in the climax of the book (I tried to think of a more appropriate phrase, but oh well) is at the top of my list.
