I think your link is pretty just the way it is. :-P

Thanks for the info. Of course the name I'm looking for this week isn't on the list at all. Just my luck.

/sigh Darn computers.... I need to send mine in again. Such a pain.

Well, if anyone can help me, this week I need 3 books with a character named Erin in them. I would be in your debt, somehow. :-D

Hope that helps!

Yep, that is a known bug that pops up occasionally :)

message 509: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments That's a relief, actually! Is there another known bug about the number of books on a shelf not changing after you shuffle some on or off? Have to see if I can track down the "bug" list...

message 510: by Miss (new)

Miss | 259 comments Just finished my urban fantasy read, River Marked, 04/16 - 4.5 stars.

This was a great entry to the series, I loved how Adam and Mercy interacted, loved to see their relationship grow. There was some light shed on Mercy's paternity, but also more questions popped out (I'm really wondering now how long Mercy is going to live, she is really vulnerable and heals human-slow).
As this was also a road-trip kind of story, I missed some of the other characters and I'm looking forward to reading more about them in the next instalment.

Judithe | 6566 comments River Marked (Mercedes Thompson #6) by Patricia Briggs 4/18/11 4.5★

Full review will follow later, but...I LOVED IT. OK, so that's almost a given for me. Mercy is great as always, and so full of character. Adam is....well, he's Adam. Nuff said. I love to read series (great series!) set in my old home neighborhoods...and I've hiked around where Mercy and Adam did, on my way from the Tri-Cities to Portland.

Back to the story. I love Adam and Mercy's relationship, and though the "usual" character cast was very much in the background, the new people we met were quite interesting. The action was well-paced (not too fast, and definitely not too slow)...and I just laughed at the butterflies & balloons.

Done gushing for now...it was worth the wait, and the next will be on pre-order, too.

Judithe | 6566 comments OK, Ok...hang onto your horses there, Sandra! LOL! And congrats, too! We'll be at 7 very soon!

And really loved RM...hard to get into my next book, eek. Though that might be the fault of RL butting into my reading time!

message 537: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32758 comments I always have the same issue following a fantastic read, nothing can compare. I'm sure a few books would've probably gotten a higher rating from me if they hadn't had the unfortunate after-great-book syndrome. LOL!

Heather ~ Marceline | 1017 comments I finished Archangel's Consort (Guild Hunter, #3) by Nalini Singh on 4/19/11 and gave it 5 *'s.

I loved the third installment of this series. Elena has remained a Guild Hunter, though only part time while she gains her strength as a made angel. In this book Elena and Raphael struggle with how much independence Raphael will allow her, having to acknowledge he wanted a warrior for his consort. The main storyline though revolves around the waking of an ancient. No one is certain who, or where they are sleeping, but based on the disasters happening around the world it is apparent it is someone very old. Everyone suspects that it is Raphael's mother, an idea that terrifies all angels. The book was exciting, and definitely hot! I am looking forward to reading the Phy-Changeling series also written by Nalini Singh since I like this series so much.

Steph (angel4492) | 32758 comments I just wanna hug Nalini for all the great books she's given us. Love her!

message 541: by Miss (new)

Miss | 259 comments I too love her books!

Finished Desire Unchained for the demons shelf - 04/20, 4.5 stars, nearly perfect. :)

I like Larissa Ione's demon world, it's different and very easy to visualise, she is a gifted author. Also, liked that there were many scenes involving a hospital, that's also different and interesting. The two main characters were really great and the conflict kept me on the edge of my seat till the end. Can't wait for Wraith's story which is next!

I'll also be reading Eternal Kiss of Darkness for the paranormal-fiction stamp.

message 542: by Nairabell (new)

Nairabell | 634 comments Thanks for all the best wishes guys. I'm feeling much better :)

Also - love Nalini Singh's books! I read all of the psy-changelings in a week last month so now I'm desperate for Kiss of Snow!

I'm done with A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark, #2) by Kresley Cole for the Demons shelf (though there were barely any demons in there). My review is here.

message 543: by Jackie M (new)

Jackie M | 695 comments Finished my demon read.
The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1) by Gena Showalter 4/20/2011 3 stars more like 3 1/2 stars.
This is one of those series that I know I will be hooked on. It has everything I like, the bad boy, the virgin, and the how can they ever be together forever theme.
The Lords of the Underworld is about a bunch of men and one woman who are warriors that also have a demon trapped in them and they can never be separated or the warrior dies and the demon is unleashed to the world.
I am looking forward to reading the next installment and have it waiting for me on my Kindle.
