Oh no, I'm sorry, that wasn't all directed at you! Not at all, I was just speaking to everyone who might click onto the discussion. I understand what you meant, and I agree. I just didn't want anyone who's never seen him before, to see the pic and think, THAT'S Jace?! Anyway I'm sorry it seemed like that was aimed at you or something, it wasn't in the least.

Okay so I don't have the link, but everyone should go to Cassandra Clare's blog. Her latest post is about Jamie, and includes a link to an interview she did where she talks thoroughly about him being cast. I found it very reassuring, not to mention exciting! It was SO good to hear that Lily loves him, and how fantastic they are together.
Jamie is the guy from Camelot right? I like him as Jace. Even though I was rooting for Alex P. I think that Jamie will be a great Jace, there is something quite intriguing about him.
Well after reading about Cassie's reactions, i am a bit more reassured about Jamie as Jace actually. So i guess he wont be a disappointment(he better not be!).

I agree. I was watching interviews with the 2 of them, and Alex P. has this sort of openness in his face, whereas Jamie has a lot more mystery I think. Especially around his eyes-he looks as if he could give you a million different looks. Not the case with Alex.

He turned it down and he wanted $10m for the movie which would have brought the quality of the rest of the cast down and, I hate to say it, but he's just not that good an actor. Throw in the fact he's an asshole and half asses promo/doesn't get along with his co-stars then I really think that we lucked out with JCB who is a better actor (which is what really counts), a nice guy and has experience of working on successful franchises.
I wanted Max Irons, and I know that so many fans in a dream fancast wanted AP because he looks the part, but this movie needs someone who more than looks the part and JCB, whatever you think of his physical suitability, will do a better job of being Jace, capturing his personality, being a credit to the series during filming & promo than AP would, I strongly believe that.
Deffinitely think alex. pettyfer for jace!

I can't belive they gave Jamie Campbell-Bower the role! Alex told his agent to get him the part and apperantly the people didn't want him as Jace! WHY NOT? Alex is WAY better for the part than Jamie! I guess it will have to do, I hope it doesn't mess up the storyline and the awesomeness of the books...
I'm not dissing Jamie or anything, he is a great actor, I just wish Alex got the part.

Alex is WAY better for the part than Jami..."According to THR which is beyond reliable, Alex wanted $10m to do it - so he may have wanted the part (doubtful tbh), but not at a price that was realistic or ever going to happen. If I want a promotion at work at double my salary it doesn't mean my bosses are going to give me it so I can't complain when they go look elsewhere for a person who's ego doesn't surpass their talent.
I love the fanart. I'm really excited to see how the rest of the cast is going to work out now. I'm really happy with our Clary & Jace now.
Wow I didn't know that intresting... Well I like Jamie & I can't wait till the movie comes out, but I guess I was just sad AP didn't get the part. Besides I think Jamie is the next best Jace. Cassandra is happy he got the part. :)

Alex actually didn't want the part..instead he accepted the role in the movie about Channing Tatum and his stripper days.
Jamie Campbell Bower is too......girlish, I think they took the angelic looking thing too seriously. Jace is tough plus angelic. But I want Jamie to surprise me!
