omgawd yes!!!!!!!!!!!! i love it..and i think Cary is good ending up with Jace his way hot..But so is Simon in City Of Glass cuz his vamp and all but yahh her and Jace and i think Simon should go with Izabelle not Maia cuz idk they jst suit better in my oppinion..and u can so tell that maia likes Jordan again in book 4!!!!!! so in book 5 its ganna be..cary and jace..simon and izabelle and maia and jordan..i think so anyway..OR I HOPE SO.. and hmmm alex pettyfer as jace..??Id have to say yes cuz thats exactly how i pictured Jace smexzy and delicious! he so suits the role!!!!!

P.S. about Lily Collins I think she's pretty decent actually and she seems to be a big fan of the series which is a good thing & she's not rude like Pettyfer -.-

Just so you all know, Alex just signed on to play a male stripper in an upcoming movie. They won't tell us if this means he can't be Jace, but it's been said that his chances are much less likely.
Not because of the stripper thing (sorry if I made it sound like that) but just because of the other movie.

Me too!! It's like, I have no control over casting..so just get going with it. How come Katniss for the Hunger Games was only cast a couple months ago, and now almost everyone else is cast and they're beginning filming, while Clary was cast back in December, and NOTHING else has happened yet? I think we need the Hunger Games people to teach the Mortal Instruments people some things :P

I have yet to find an ideal Alec or Jace. Or Isabelle, although I rather like Kaya Scodelario (same girl Cassie picked). I can't believe how lucky we got with Lily for Clary, I absolutely love her. Has anyone seen the trailer for Abduction? if not, go watch it now! I don't see how you can deny she'll be a killer Clary, just after watching that.

would be playing Jace Wayland for MI I wouldn't have even found it funny! but looking at the transformation he went through from himself to being Caius, I'm gonna give him a chance.
But obviously he doesn't really look like that! google pictures of him, and as long as he cuts the hair, I think he'll be good. Except I reeally need to see him act. His role in New Moon doesnt tell us anything, neither does Harry Potter. Honestly though, look at his face, his eyes. (not in the picture above.) don't you think there's definitely something there that intrigues you a little bit? Alex P. looked hot but he looked so flat and empty! As was his acting. This guy lookes alive, even in still pictures. That's what we need for Jace.
At first I was less than enthusiastic of him out of the options, but tbh - I didn't want Alex Pettyfer either. Giving the news time to set in though and I don't hate it - he's a better actor than most of the other options, he won't need too much work to get right physically, he's got experience of working on franchises which we obviously hope this will be and, most importantly, he's not an asshole who will think he's too good to do any promo or annoy the rest of the cast.I really hope that he does a great job. I think that with so many film adaptations that fans of the book get ideas in their head then knee-jerk to a ridiculous extreme when they don't get their way that it's actually a bit embarrassing. Look at Twilight - the OTT campaign when Rob was cast was ridiculous and they all love him now. Fingers crossed this is the same.

But Jamie Campbell Bower is already cast for Jace...Alex P. is out of the picture. Keep in mind that really, nobody should ever be cast for their hair. Hollywood can do anything to make anyone's hair look right.

But Cassandra Clare says she saw his audition, and he was spot on. She said it was so good, that she's really relieved and happy that he got the role. So I'm going to have to trust her!

I meant if he could go from looking like himself to look like that picture, then they can definitely make him look like Jace. Other than that I can't say anything else till I watch the movie.
