"Can't wait! Okay which way do we run guys?" Spencer said enthusiastically.

Skye followed, grinning at Lithos as she did. They were so close, she could almost taste freedom.

Suddenly, her body felt as hot coals. Lithos's vision began to blur and she began to fall from the sky. The last thing she remembered seeing was that boy with the beautiful green eyes.
((Got really hot... Uh... :D Sorry, I found it funny))
"Lithos!" Skye screamed, stopping mid-air. It had felt really good to get into the sky. She stopped beating her wings, and dived downwards to Lithos' falling body. Had she been shot?

The next thing she knew, she was lying on the grass in a forest. Her back was still burning. She reached her hand behind her to find out that it had been bandaged. This was no gunshot. Lithos knew what that felt like, but that's another story.
"Skye?" she mumbled as she sat up.
((Spencer was going to save Lithos... oh well))
"Lithos? Are you awake?" Skye asked. She'd told the other bird-kids to stay a little back, give Lithos some space.

"Spencer grabbed you but couldn't hold you much longer, so I brought you down here. I don't know what happened," Skye frowned. "Does anything hurt?"
"I don't think so, broken bones don't usually bleed, do they?" Skye frowned. "And besides, you didn't do anything weird to it before you started to fall, did you?" Skye asked.

((sorry went on a short holiday =D))
"I don't know," Skye said, guilt sinking in. She shoved a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "It was just so chaotic I really don't know what happened. I'm just hoping she got out alright. For now, we need to tend to your back, in case Erasers come. Then we can go find Jordan, OK?"

"Good," Skye whispered to Lithos. "I kinda need to, um, expose your back to make it better and from up there he won't be able to see." She raised her voice to a call. "See anything, Spencer?"
"Good, good," Skye muttered to herself. "The only thing not normal in the landscape is Spencer himself." She shot a look up at the trees, hoping Spencer's 'super-hearing' wasn't that super.
"I didn't say anything," Skye replied. She glanced at Lithos. "I wish we had proper medical supplies."

"Flying Erasers?" Skye looked up. On the horizon, where the School still made an ugly splotch were tiny specks in the sky. Skye swore quietly. "How many?" she called to Spencer. Maybe she and Spencer could fight them off. She wasn't sure if Lithos was in flying condition.
Skye closed her eyes momentarily. She was torn between flight and fight. On one hand, she couldn't see them being able to fly away. And 3, maybe 4 against 2? She wished they were just average bloodthirsty Erasers, as opposed to flying bloodthirsty Erasers. Maybe they'd have a chance then. Maybe they should try fleeing by foot.
