app idea

The goal is to be able to manage and read them from the app itself of via external viewers, and have them organized by topic, author, etc.
Still no release available, but we should have one in about two months.
"... my library is 18,000 books giver or take a few hundred,
and ALL of them are eBooks. I own fewer than 30 books in paper
versions, all of them rare and signed, the only things I buy in paper.
I've been reading books electronically since they started becoming
available.
While I doubt many have a library of my scope, I think that people
buying books in quantity in electronic format will certainly become
more and more common and soon, the norm. A simple app which allows you
to drag and drop your eBooks, and from the OS gain the name of the
book, and if present, read any meta date for author, publisher, book
number, etc . could be written in a matter of days for windows, mac,
linux and unix. Ideally, the apps would also discriminate between
eBooks and audiobooks by extension if nothing else."
Might be a cool thing to build!
