Jenna (pocketmermaid) | 38 comments I started listening to The Chosen One on audio last night. Not very far in, but very intriguing!

I also got an ARC of Infinite Days a few days ago, and I've been trying to fit reading that in-between my school work. (Class ends on Wednesday, though, more reading time coming soon!) Loving what I've read of it so far.

Alyssa (shyluck13) | 124 comments Just finished Perfect Chemistry in less than probably 6 hours. Ahmazing. Beautiful. Sexy. Beats a lot of adult romances.

Uh.WOW. A must read.

message 2453: by Peep (Pop! Pop!) (new)

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Alyssa if you liked that one, you have to read Rules of Attraction. A lot of it is the same as Alex's story, but I liked Carlos better, no matter how cheesy and unrealistic the stories are :P

message 2454: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Still not a fan of Perfect Chemistry!

message 2455: by Alisha Marie (new)

Alisha Marie (endlesswonderofreading) | 3 comments Delurking to say that I also disliked Perfect Chemistry, especially after it was so hyped up.

message 2456: by Peep (Pop! Pop!) (new)

Peep (Pop! Pop!) But I don't understand how you could hate it, especially after the epilogue???

That was a really big joke, by the way!

message 2457: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Ohhhhh the epilogue! That was the worst one ever. How stupid!

message 2458: by Alisha Marie (new)

Alisha Marie (endlesswonderofreading) | 3 comments It was so supremely cheesy!

message 2459: by Peep (Pop! Pop!) (new)

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Guys, I don't think you should hold back anymore. Please, tell us how you really feel.

Forgot to mention Leaving Paradise, I liked that one the best out of all her books.

message 2461: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Leaving Paradise was soooooooooooo much better.

I LOVE The Book Thief. The narrative style was tricky for me at first, but I got used to after a while. It does take some extra brain-work compared with most YA, but it's totally worth it.

I jus finished Looking for Alaska by John Green. It blew me away.

message 2463: by Laura (new)

Laura | 114 comments Listening to The Help on audio and loving it so far.

And I just bought Linger. I'm really excited for this one, but a little apprehensive, too. Shiver was so good that I hope it doesn't mess anything up. Keeping my fingers crossed!

message 2464: by Peep (Pop! Pop!) (new)

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Finished Birthmarked by Caragh M. O'Brien yesterday, so starting Chasing Brooklyn by Lisa Schroeder today.

Yes, you will become a couch potato if you start Incarceron. It's really good. Just so you know, the sequel is available in England, but won't be released here until October or something like that.

I'm sorry Jen, I didn't like it :( But I am still super, super happy for my copy because I won it!!! And it's signed, and it's mine! :P

message 2472: by Sandy (new)

Sandy I just started Linger

message 2473: by Desperado (new)

Desperado (lethallovely) Right now I'm reading Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy, #5) by Richelle Mead & it sucketh the ass so far. I want to knock Rose's face in in the worsest way possible but I can't because this is a library book. :(

message 2474: by [deleted user] (new)

Alyssa - I really liked Perfect Chemistry too. You have to listen to Peep and read Rules of Attraction.

Jen - Angel Star was very disappointing for me and I'm a pretty easy going reader. Let us know what you think.

Sandy - I'm 3/4 of the way through Linger and I can't wait to see how it ends. I'm so nervous for Sam and Grace!

Sue Campbell (suecampbell) | 4 comments "The Book Thief" By Markus Zusak. I was disturbed at first by the narrator's voice, but I am about halfway through and I am loving it.

How strange to see a post about two books I just added to my library list last night! (The TBR pile grows faster than my time to read them.)

message 2478: by Traci (new)

Traci just finished Heist Society and I didn't love it. Didn't hate it either, it was just kind of 'meh'.

going to start Bleeding Violet by Dia Reeves in a minute..

message 2479: by Kourtni (new)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 602 comments Well that's not good to hear Traci, I was kind of looking forward to Heist Society.

message 2480: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm so close to being done with Linger. So happy I was reading in my truck at lunch because one part was so sad that I got teary.

message 2481: by Kourtni (new)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 602 comments I'm so jealous...

message 2482: by [deleted user] (new)

You should be getting it anytime now, Kourtni. I can't wait to see what you think.

message 2483: by Kourtni (new)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 602 comments Maybe it is on my front porch at this very moment! I can only hope.

message 2484: by [deleted user] (new)

I hope so! I'm going camping on Wednesday and won't be back until Sunday so we won't be able to talk about it until then. :( Unless, of course, it is waiting on your front porch and you devour it tonight and tomorrow! Haha!

message 2485: by Kourtni (new)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 602 comments Awe no! I might not be able to get it read until Sunday anyways, I've had some killer migraines that have been keeping me from reading lately. :/

message 2486: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, I'm sorry! Migraines are so horrible. My 17 year old son gets them and will have them for days at a time. :( Hope you feel better!

message 2487: by Kourtni (new)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 602 comments Yes, they are very horrible! And oh so annoying when you want to read. I'm sorry your son gets them, I started getting them around 17 as well.

Terry (Ter05 TwiMoms/ MundieMoms) (ter05) | 374 comments I finished Linger today after reading until one this morning. I LOVED it. Just did a review but can't say enough about how beautifully this book is written. I loved Shiver and Linger is equally as wonderful. Maybe even better but I just finished it and the effects are LINGERING!

message 2489: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm sitting here at work and just finished Linger thanks to the Kindle app on my phone (sneaky, sneaky). OMG! I can't believe the way it ended and came close to crying right at my desk. Can't wait until Forever is released!

Alyssa (shyluck13) | 124 comments Kourtni wrote: "Awe no! I might not be able to get it read until Sunday anyways, I've had some killer migraines that have been keeping me from reading lately. :/"

I had a brutal migraine a few days ago - I was bawling and couldn't look at the lights. It was nice to be pampered by my family...but I would've killed Mickey Mouse to make it go away. (kidding, I love MM. Those ears are adorable!)

LOL! I was just thinking that the next time I happen to be anywhere near a bookstore, ROA is the first thing I'm picking up. I can't stand the suspense any longer, wanting to read it, although I'm upset that Alex's/Britt's stories are over. :( They were HAWT!

I wanna read Leaving Paradise, but I'm kinda iffy about it. @Peep have you read all her books?

message 2492: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Alyssa I liked Leaving Paradise.

message 2493: by Peep (Pop! Pop!) (new)

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Leaving Paradise was the best one. I read her first How to Ruin book but hated it. :P

message 2494: by Traci (new)

Traci Bleeding Violet by Dia Reeves was messed up. Seriously. Not something I'd recommend. Parts of it were definitely not YA and the whole thing was just totally crazy. I legitimately worry for the author's sanity.

okay. my rant is over. I'm going to the library tomorrow morning so hopefully I will find some better material..

I loved Leaving Paradise and can't wait for the sequel! I also liked the How to Ruin series, but it's very light reading.

message 2496: by Peep (Pop! Pop!) (new)

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Me either! Do you know when the sequel is coming out?

message 2497: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa (shyluck13) | 124 comments lol well now that I've heard good reviews on Leaving Paradise, I may give it a try. She seems like a promising author!

Hahaha, not Mickey Mouse! My husband attempts to pamper me too, but I get them so often now it's just business as usual. :/

Shannen- I started Linger last night!!! It's pretty good so far and I'm really glad to hear you liked it!
