I recently read Why We Broke Upand Wonder. Very different books; however, both well written with stong character development.

Just finished:
– the final book in the Roswell High series. So much nostalgia, as I was a fan of the television show (and knew one of the actresses when I was younger!). Some things about the series - Maria, for example - were so much better in the books!
Now I'm reading
- the second book in the "Vincent" series. Pretty good, but would be happier without all the spelling errors. However I believe it has been picked up by a publisher now, so that will probably (hopefully!) be fixed!
Halfway through The Ask and the Answer. It's not an easy book to read because of some of the scenes, but then again, like war, there are no easy answers.

Probably going to continue The Three Arched Bridge soon. Not YA but I need to respect my cultural heritage!
I finished
which was very cute and funny. Also just finished
which was a VERY good book that I would HIGHLY recommend. The only thing I didn't love was the ending. But it was a really great novel. It reminded me of Unwind in a lot of ways, only perhaps not so action packed :)

I'm only about 50 pages in, but I'm really enjoying it so far.
Mystic City was awesome! One of those that you should judge by the cover.I'm about a quarter of the way into
. I love Maggie and I've loved every single book of hers that i've read, so I cannot fathom a bad book coming from her mind. And it's not that it's bad...just unclear so far. I don't know what to make of it yet.

. I'm about the same distance in and while I really do like it...I just don't love it yet. I think I'll put it down for a little while and come back to it. And hope that it's a slow-burning love affair. :)
Linda wrote: "I loved Raven Boys too. Now I'm reading Once A Witch which is sooooo good."I'm looking up Once a Witch
Yeah, I kinda put Raven boys on the back burner. Hopefully it will pick up a little when I go back to it. Now I'm just about finished with
which has been so flippin good. Really interesting, about desert gods. I love it!
I'm nearing the end of my reading challenge for this year. I'm halfway through both Tiger's Curse and Moon Called, and then I have Burned to read. Of course, just because my challenge of 100 books will be met soon, that doesn't mean I don't have lots of other books waiting in the wings to be read! :)
Just finished Ice by Durst. The searcher can't find it though. I really loved it. Fantastic feisty female and what a hot bear!
sometimes it helps to type the author's name with the title :) I really want to read this one. I just read her newest book: Vessel, and it was amazing, so now I want to go back and check out her earlier stuff.
I finished
and
and I was pretty disappointed with both. Defiance lost my interest and I just couldn't get it back, even at the bitter end. And The Raven Boys was just...very odd. I don't know how else to explain it. And the frustrating part is that I can't even rant about what was so weird without totally ruining the book for others. But, anyway, I was not thrilled with this book, which makes me so sad because I love every other book that she has written.
Thanks for the tip. Defiance has such a pretty cover, too bad you didn't like it. I'm kind of curious about Raven Boys, maybe it's not for me.
I just finished
which had been on my list FOREVER, I was a bit afraid to read it because all of my goodreads friends loved it so much. (I agree it was awesome!)Now I'm reading
and
This is my second Melina Marchetta. I absolutely adored On the Jellicoe Road, so I'm intrigued to read some more of her stuff.
Just finished
it was awesome. Now I will try to complete the remaining 7 books on my currently reading shelf, one of which is
.
