Anna | 9 comments I recently read Why We Broke Upand Wonder. Very different books; however, both well written with stong character development.

Natalia Heaney | 1 comments Just finished: The Salvation (Roswell High, #10) by Melinda Metz – the final book in the Roswell High series.

So much nostalgia, as I was a fan of the television show (and knew one of the actresses when I was younger!). Some things about the series - Maria, for example - were so much better in the books!

Now I'm reading The Vincent Brothers (The Vincent Boys, #2) by Abbi Glines - the second book in the "Vincent" series. Pretty good, but would be happier without all the spelling errors. However I believe it has been picked up by a publisher now, so that will probably (hopefully!) be fixed!

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments YOU HAVE THE WHOLE ROSWELL SERIES?!?!?!?!

I'm jealous. I rewatch the show annually.

shanghao (sanshow) Halfway through The Ask and the Answer. It's not an easy book to read because of some of the scenes, but then again, like war, there are no easy answers.

message 13610: by Tellulah (new)

Tellulah Darling (tellulahdarling) loved Frostbite (Vampire Academy, #2) by Richelle Mead and The Girl in the Park by Mariah Fredericks was pretty good.

message 13611: by Bethany (new)

Bethany | 578 comments I finished Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn which was very cute and funny. Also just finished The Lost Girl by Sangu Mandanna which was a VERY good book that I would HIGHLY recommend. The only thing I didn't love was the ending. But it was a really great novel. It reminded me of Unwind in a lot of ways, only perhaps not so action packed :)

I'm only about 50 pages in, but I'm really enjoying it so far.

message 13623: by Bethany (new)

Bethany | 578 comments Mystic City was awesome! One of those that you should judge by the cover.

I'm about a quarter of the way into The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater . I love Maggie and I've loved every single book of hers that i've read, so I cannot fathom a bad book coming from her mind. And it's not that it's bad...just unclear so far. I don't know what to make of it yet.

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling that about The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater . I'm about the same distance in and while I really do like it...I just don't love it yet. I think I'll put it down for a little while and come back to it. And hope that it's a slow-burning love affair. :)

I'm looking up Once a Witch

message 13631: by Bethany (new)

Bethany | 578 comments Yeah, I kinda put Raven boys on the back burner. Hopefully it will pick up a little when I go back to it.

Now I'm just about finished with Vessel by Sarah Beth Durst which has been so flippin good. Really interesting, about desert gods. I love it!

message 13632: by Reen (new)

Reen (keydevera) | 13 comments Currently reading Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green

message 13633: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl Landmark (clandmark) | 148 comments I'm nearing the end of my reading challenge for this year. I'm halfway through both Tiger's Curse and Moon Called, and then I have Burned to read. Of course, just because my challenge of 100 books will be met soon, that doesn't mean I don't have lots of other books waiting in the wings to be read! :)

message 13634: by Bethany (new)

Juliann Whicker | 131 comments Just finished Ice by Durst. The searcher can't find it though. I really loved it. Fantastic feisty female and what a hot bear!

message 13640: by Bethany (new)

Bethany | 578 comments Ice by Sarah Beth Durst sometimes it helps to type the author's name with the title :) I really want to read this one. I just read her newest book: Vessel, and it was amazing, so now I want to go back and check out her earlier stuff.

message 13641: by Bethany (new)

Bethany | 578 comments I finished Defiance (Defiance, #1) by C.J. Redwine and The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater and I was pretty disappointed with both. Defiance lost my interest and I just couldn't get it back, even at the bitter end. And The Raven Boys was just...very odd. I don't know how else to explain it. And the frustrating part is that I can't even rant about what was so weird without totally ruining the book for others. But, anyway, I was not thrilled with this book, which makes me so sad because I love every other book that she has written.

message 13642: by Juliann (new)

Juliann Whicker | 131 comments Thanks for the tip. Defiance has such a pretty cover, too bad you didn't like it. I'm kind of curious about Raven Boys, maybe it's not for me.

message 13643: by Dichotomy Girl (new)

Dichotomy Girl (dichotomygirl) I just finished Ready Player One by Ernest Cline which had been on my list FOREVER, I was a bit afraid to read it because all of my goodreads friends loved it so much. (I agree it was awesome!)

Now I'm reading For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund and The Diviners (The Diviners, #1) by Libba Bray

message 13644: by Julie (new)

Julie Reece I'm reading The Rise of Nine (Lorien Legacies, #3) by Pittacus Lore I have GOT to read faster so I can read the other ones you guys are raving about! lol.
