Why did it show a different Forsaken when you quoted me? Goodreads how odd.Yes, not good. You can look at my status updates to see what annoys me so.

Going Too Far not far enough in the story to be hooked, but far enough to keep reading to find out what is going on, if that makes any sense
If you LOVE YA be sure to give 'Angels & Warriors, The Awakening' a nibble. Check out the giveaway for this new novel here: http://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sho...

. Such a great series!

Blue Mars. Yes, I am going to finish this trilogy come hell or high water. It's good and I will make time to finish reading it!

I tried reading the first book, but I just couldn't get into it. I really wanted to like it, but the style bothered me.

So many people mention that. But you have to take into consideration that the main character isn't formally educated...which the style conveys. It didn't bother me. (Unlike when I tried to read a Nicholas Sparks book once. Worst dialogue I've ever read.) Work past it, until you get to the point where Viola joins. I bet you'll like it. It's a really good series.
I have convinced a ton of people to return to Chaos Walking and give it another try because they could not get into it and then they end up loving the series!

You probably won't regret it. :)
I'm reading
. And I mean it this time! I'm really reading it. I've already got to page 153! And it has picked up, I'm definitely into the story and very curious about where its gonna go.

So, it's good and all, but I have to say I'm still pretty confused. And I'm not sure if I'm just dense and missing things or if I'm not supposed to understand things yet. Like, I'm on the same page as poor Todd. I'm really confused and irritated that there seems to be all these secrets and NO ONE will tell me anything and everyone is acting weird and I just want to understand EVERYTHING!!! I feel you, Todd!

I've not read this yet, but as far as the dialogue goes, if you're into audiobooks, I've heard good things about how this one handles the dialogue and makes it seem smoother and what not.

You have to read all three books to get answers but their are a lot of answers in book 2 (as well as more questions!).
Read
It was a fun plot and I liked the characters but there wasn't a lot of development of the characters. I know its only book 1 but still. I like a bit more change on a book by book basis.
