YES! Now you'll have to start Bloodlines, though I'll warn you- it doesn't hold a candle...IMO. Still enjoyed it, especially because Adrian is a big part of the books, but it was not as good a VA :(
I am currently reading City of Bones based on a recommendation from a friend. Great story!! It has pieces that remind me of science fiction/fantasy books and TV shows that I have loved, but the book stays true to it's own tale.

I plan on reading those soon. I keep rereading a few scenes from the VA books. :) I love Dimitri.

Yay! A Monster Calls is my favorite read this year so far.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and The Catcher in the Rye. I tend to read more than one book at once.
I just finished reading Beautiful Disaster.. and now I'm trying to figure out what to read next. Any suggestions??

I loved it. It's one of my favorite books!
Hello to all I am currently reading Clockwork Prince bk 2 to clockwork angel. Actually I preferred the Mortal Instrument series. I'm still trying to like this book
I loved Divergent. Tris is awesome, she should be one one best actresses in a book. Book 2 Insurgent was great as well you learned alot more about the main individuals
I was not as into Divergent as everyone else. Too little world building for me. As you can see I am in the minority though!
Heidi wrote: "I was not as into Divergent as everyone else. Too little world building for me. As you can see I am in the minority though!"I'm with you, Heidi. But I did think INSURGENT was better.

It was an awesome read !
I'm beta reading the sequel to
! I'm super excited! The first book is selling as an ebook for .99 at Amazon and Smashwords. So that conversation here about whether .99 was too much/little for an indie ebook debut? I think this is a great book to test out whichever theory you subscribe to. Full disclosure: author is my awesome friend. Also, what I'm unfortunately not reading:
. I've been seeing this held up as the standard for YA dystopia, and I saw it at the library while chasing my two monkeys around, but when i went back for it, it was gone! :(

I LOVED The Book Thief! I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with the style. I was quite impressed with that novel.
Xerxes Break(Vivian Ephona) wrote: "I'm reading the Uglies Series and am currently on Specials. Also, I'm going to be having a summer reading fest so any books you want to recommend would be great! Just in a different topic!"I have only read the first book. I seem to have begun a bunch of YA series books in the past month... Uglies, Matched, and the new vampiresseries-can't remember what it's called.
The Book Thief took me about 100 or so pages to get used to but I loved it after that. It is one of my only 5 star rated books.
Just finished
, not sure that I like it, it was a bit strange, especially the ending...but I am now starting
