Same thing happened to me. I haven't read the rest of the series because I've been reading the prequel series to it instead Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices #1) by Cassandra Clare & Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices, #2) by Cassandra Clare --> so good!

Tina ♥ Bookaholic (martinabookaholic) At the moment I'm still reading randomly on (oh crap) The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1) by J.R.R. Tolkien
but mostly now on The Forest of Hands and Teeth (The Forest of Hands and Teeth, #1) by Carrie Ryan and A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin

when I'm ready with The Forest of Hands... I'll start with Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi and then Exile (Mercy, #2) by Rebecca Lim and then I'll go on with Fever (The Chemical Garden, #2) by Lauren DeStefano

I'm kind of busy for the next few days/ weeks :)

I know...it sucks. Especially since it won the vote for March :/ Well, hopefully other people enjoy it. I'm gonna try to finish it today so I can post the discussion topics. It's not awful, it's just not very exciting and it focuses too much on the love relationship of the characters.

message 12512: by Julie (new)

Julie I started Fever (The Chemical Garden, #2) by Lauren DeStefano today, I haven't been able to put it down yet. :)

Does anybody have any suggestions for a really good, fun, lighthearted, book with minimal romance? It doesn't have to be YA or even fiction for that matter. I could really, really use one of those about now.

message 12516: by Natasha (new)

Natasha | 24 comments I finished A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire #1) by George R.R. Martin , really enjoyed it. Think I actually liked it more as I watched the TV show so I wasn't as confused with all the different characters and perspectives.

Started Legend (Legend, #1) by Marie Lu last night and am almost done with it, safe to say I'm really loving it.

Will start either Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi or Blue Bloods (Blue Bloods, #1) by Melissa de la Cruz next.

Loved LEGEND. Have UNDER THE NEVER SKY in The Pile. The Blue Bloods books just weren't for me. I think I read the first 3 of them and then gave it up.

message 12518: by Natalie (new)

Natalie (neon_bookworm) | 36 comments I just finished Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices, #2) by Cassandra Clare and Graceling (The Seven Kingdoms, #1) by Kristin Cashore , both of which were great.

I've just started The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride, #1) by James Patterson because a bunch of the high school students I work with have been reading and enjoying them.

I really want to read Fever (The Chemical Garden, #2) by Lauren DeStefano and Pandemonium (Delirium, #2) by Lauren Oliver but I haven't bought them yet.

aww really that sucks. I just joined like last year and I've won 11 books. If you write a lot of reviews you have a better chance to win.

I've heard it's a really good book but I have no idea of what the book is about.

message 12541: by Natalie (new)

Natalie (neon_bookworm) | 36 comments Matched and Crossed are both good. They're dystopian novels, so the general society seems perfect but really somethings wrong kind of thing. I know that doesn't make them sound exciting, but they're actually pretty good, although Crossed felt more like a set up for #3 then anything else.

Yes, I got an ARC from my librarian. I just finished it around two am. It was good. I still like Graceling best, but Bitterblue was really good. It was kinda heavy, a bit darker than Graceling. But it was very good, hard to put down, that one!
