I hadn't heard that. They've been trying to make it into a movie since the 70's, so here's hoping it actually takes this time.

Reportedly it has Abagail Breslin and Harrison Ford (per EW). According to IMBD it is in preproduction and Ender is being played by Assa Butterfield from Hugo and Nanny McPhee Returns.

Yes, although I have to say I was less impressed with
because it just did not stand up to the first book. However
was good! I recommend this entire series!
I just finished
. You MUST read this book! I cannot wait for
to be released! I will be starting
tomorrow.

I was really disappointed with the ending of FOREVER, though on the whole I liked the whole series.

Brooke wrote: "Did you like The Hunger games?:..."Yes, I LOVED The Hunger Games. Have recommended it to countless people.
YES, read it!! Melodie really is part of a small minority. A cuckoo minority if you ask me :)Divergent is awesome! It was my favorite dystopian for 2011.
My other group that I belong to, which is a PA/Dystopian group, is gonna read
for our February monthly read. I'm really looking forward to it, heard lots of great things.

Forgive My Finsabout 1/4 done and not sure about this book. i wanted to read more about mermaids after briefly "meeting
one in Paranormalcy but this one is coming across as whining and selfish right now.

I read one called Sea Change that I really enjoyed. I think it was part of a trilogy but I'm not sure. I enjoyed it though. Also, try Everblue, it's pretty good so far from what I read.
Currently reading

I hate giving up on books, but I'm just not into

Heyo YA readers. I'm reading The Scorpio Races. Has anyone else read it? I'm not very far into it yet - only a couple of pages - so there is still time to bail out and not feel guilty.
Bookosaur wrote: "Heyo YA readers. I'm reading The Scorpio Races. Has anyone else read it? I'm not very far into it yet - only a couple of pages - so there is still time to bail out and not feel guilty."I just read it. It was a slow mover and very different but I ended up liking it over all.
I'm reading Scorpio Races and I really like it, but I'm only about 100 pages in. I'm a big fan of Maggie Stiefvater's writing though.
I absolutely loved the Scorpio Races. It was much slower, but I really fell for it. It was a beautiful story, although full of violence and some gore. I really loved it!

Jessica, the link is ^above. It's a group purely focused on the Post-Apocalptic and Dystopian genres. We'd love to have you! Shatter Me is the book we read for January. I loved it.
I didn't necessarily disslike EVE, but it wasn't very groundbreaking. It was like, the quintessential dystopian novel. Not very original, but I didn't hate it.

I wasn't really disappointed because I didn't expect much out of it in the first place, lol. I actually liked it more than I thought I would.

I liked SHATTER ME, too, but thought all the flowery prose started to wear really thin!
