I love that book. The content gets pretty internse, but it's a really good story.

message 11560: by Theo (new)

Theo I've just started The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky , so I don't have much of an opinion yet. I'm not in love with the narrator's voice, but I'm willing to stick it out and see what happens.

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments I know people like it when I post strange publishing gossip I find from hanging out on twitter too much.

Newbie author behaving badly. Really badly. (Note I don't use the word crazytrain this time because he has an actual mental illness. However that doesn't excuse his personality)

Regina (reginar) Thanks Cassi! I am enjoying it, I think it is incredibly creative and unique so far (I am about 40% in). But I am not in love with it. I am at about 3.5 stars so far, but my appreciation for it keeps growing.

message 11577: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I have heard that quite a bit, that the end of the trilogy has a great pay off. From where I am right now, I believe I will go on with the series. :)

Hello Regina from audio group and Powder Room! TKONLG wasn't even on audio until book 3 was released but I wish it was because it was hard to get into at first in print due to the dialect. Just like Cassi (aka Snow White) said it gets better with each book.

Hello Regina from audio grou..."

Hi! Small world. :) The narration is fabulous for Knife, I can imagine the text would be difficult to penetrate. I love how the noise is portrayed.

Sometimes I think about joining other groups. Then I worry they won't be nearly as fantabulous as this one. Am I missing anything fun?

message 11588: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) The other groups I'm in I mod, so I would say yes, haha.

You can join me, it is quite fun to follow Wendy around!

message 11592: by Heidi (new)

Heidi I am in 4 groups but I love this one. I have a phobia about unread threads so for me I can't add anymore groups or I would go insane!

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Hahahaha, well I am such a cool person!

Heidi, I have that same group problem. I'm a member of 5 groups.
