Yay! It's HUGE!!! That makes me so happy...

Annie Oosterwyk Some recent hits: Breadcrumbs A Monster Calls and Chime as an audio book. The reader's voice was a great addition and every character was "spot on".

600 pages! Much larger than Froi. I love Melina so I am not complaining :)

message 11404: by Bethany (new)

Bethany | 578 comments yeah, thats 200 pages bigger than Finnikin. Awesome!

message 11405: by rameau (new)

rameau I finished Good Oil by Laura Buzo It started strong but ended a bit meh for my tastes. Not because of the ending chosen but because of the pov skipping.

And right after finishing that I opened Saving June by Hannah Harrington I'm liking it so far.

Brittany (finally graduated and can once again read for fun) | 1328 comments Did you guys see that there is now a cover and a release date for Bitterblue? Check it out. I like the cover, but I'm not super excited about the wait. Although, it's nice to finally have a release date. It's progress I guess...

Yeah, the cover has been out for a while now. I don't dislike it, as much as I don't really understand the significance of the keys. But, reguardless, I'm incredibly excited for the book's release. I love Po and Katsa and I can't wait to get my fix ;)

Julie Reece Nevermore by Kelly Creagh.

I like it so far. I had to get over the cliche 'Cheerleader/football player vs social outcast plotline. Note: outcast is a stunningly cool and beautiful boy no one but said cheerleader has noticed until this point (really?) but there are many other aspects of the story that are great...

message 11412: by S.S. (last edited Oct 30, 2011 12:22PM) (new)

S.S. (ssrice) | 75 comments I read Hounded because of the cover LOL.

The writing is clever and plot interesting. On to HEXED, then HAMMERED! Hounded (Iron Druid Chronicles, #1) by Kevin Hearne

I hate that!! Like no one would notice this smokin' hot boy just because he doesn't hang with the cool kids?? So silly. But let me know how the book is overall, it looks like one that is going to get on my nerves, but it also sounds like it could be cute. So, yeah...let us know :)

message 11414: by Julie (new)

Julie I'm reading The Dark Elite Volume 1 (Firespell & Hexbound) by Chloe Neill right now, I was hoping it would be kind of spooky for Halloween but no such luck.

message 11415: by Julie (new)

Julie Reece Fury (The Fury Trilogy #1) author
Miles, Elizabeth

Bethany, I'll let you know how Nevermore stacks up :) .

S.S. I just put Fury on my 'to-read list because of the cover (author above). The reviews don't sound too good so far, so It's not a top pick, but the cover makes me want it to be good. Soooo beautful!

Michelle (FabBookReviews) (fabbookreviews) | 13 comments I just finished Unearthly (Unearthly #1) by Cynthia Hand which I really liked, and started Past Perfect by Leila Sales . @ Julie: I also have Fury (The Fury Trilogy #1) by Elizabeth Miles waiting to go!

I love Here be Dragons (Welsh Princes, #1) by Sharon Kay Penman . Sharon Kay Penman is great for historical fiction! But just be warned that after you read it you may have a burning desire to become a Welsh freedom fighter. :D
