Finished Virals by Kathy Reichs and found it pretty enjoyable for her first foray into the young adult paranormal genre. Now, I'm starting to read Radiant Shadows by Melissa Marr.

I'm about halfway through
, which I am enjoying immensely. Also reading
, which is not YA, but it is a very good fantasy series by Juliet Marillier. If you like fantast, then I would highly recommend this series. Its incredibly hard to put down.

It seems cool so far. Though, I'm only on the first chapter. I love the drawings throughout.
Ok I am listening to the authors soundtrack for
and am cracking up. Someone else needs to listen to this thing so we can compare notes!
Heidi wrote: "Bethany I bought Child of the Prophecy at Borders before it went under. I haven't gotten to it yet."Well, It's not bad, but I plowed through the first two books. They were really hard to put down. This ones a little different and I don't love the MC so It's taking a little bit more effort for me to pick it up. I'm about half way through and I've yet to be impressed.

Well I am glad I only paid like $2.00 for it then! I loved the first two as well.
Sylvia- the Host is one of my favorites. I don't think S.M. is the best writer, but I absolutely love the concept and storyline of the book. I hope you enjoy it.

I can see why people don't like it, but I overlook the flaws because I love it. I've already read it three times. Ian and Jamie are two of my favourite characters in any book.
I'm currently reading
. I'm only about 50 pages in, but I'm having difficulty getting into the story.

a lot more (I listened to both on audio) although it is way different it has the same setting

I didn't really love the heroine in Book 3 of that series either until I read a Q&A with Marillier where she talks about all her protagonists. It was quite eye-opening to see why she wrote #3 the way she did and the underpinnings of the character. I still don't love this one best, but it's definitely a beautiful story and worth reading all the way.

I will definitely finish it. Fianne is getting better, but I'm still tearing my hair out a bit at some of her choices. And the stuff with Eamonn...Gag me! Just...SO.GROSS!!!

Mine too! I can..."
Me too! I love all the characters, but I especially love Jaime. And Jeb too!
Bethany: Oh, yes, definitely Jeb. And Doc. I forgot a few. :)The only one I really didn't like was Kyle, but even he showed character growth at the end.

Yay! I own those too. I liked the second book better, but the first one is really good too!
I'm reading
for the second time. I finally have the complete trilogy so I wanted to re-read before I start
.
I just finished Never Have I Ever it was really good...I'm still not sure who to trust but I think I know who did it....and it's not the obvious choice!! Now I'm getting ready to start The Summer I Turned Pretty I hope it's a good read!!
Bethany wrote: "I'm about halfway through

I have just finished 'dawn' by Kevin Brooks. Also known as 'Killing God' in the UK. It is grim and intense and a lot of it is self talk or narration in her head. Has anyone read any of his other books? ('Kissing the Rain' or 'Luke'?)I actually like books that make you feel someone's unhappiness and the struggle their mind is going through to make sense of the world. But I don't like to read about intercourse...

Awesome! I'm glad to hear that. :)

I do prefer the rendering of Bella and Edward from the graphic novels much better than their counterparts from the movies lol.
