Um...yeah. I am not into wordy paranormal books so it was not for me. I gave it about 100-150 pages and gave up. I learned my lesson after trudging through the entire Twilight series. Those type of books are just not my thing - obviously a lot of others love them though.

message 11213: by Cassi aka Snow White (new)

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments So I was listening to Lost by Gregory Maguire which was going NOWHERE and making me make stabbing gestures towards my eyes (This is what happens when a book is bad. Eye stabbing. And that's dangerous while driving)

So I grabbed A Bone to Pick (Aurora Teagarden Mystery, #2) by Charlaine Harris in complete desperation. Apparently its the second in a series. But really it's not been confusing so far and it does appear that there is a plot that doesn't involve a noise in the chimney for 40% of the book.

I'm about half way through & loving it. It's so unique, that's why I'm not in a hurry to finish. I love reading books that are so different from anything else I've read before. Savoring it!

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Bought the ebook for a crazy amount. You can order the book and get it shipped as well. Fishpond, I think, has free shipping.

Yup. Cassi if I get my copy I can mail it to you after I am done and Brittany is done (she already asked for mine :)

message 11227: by Cassi aka Snow White (new)

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments OOOOO yes please! Then I can buy my own when it comes out if I just need a copy.

message 11228: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Okey dokey. I am still waiting to see if Fishpond mails it to me since it is kind of shady since the US release date is not until March. If I do get it soon Brittany can't read it until Christmas break so perhaps if she doesn't mind I could mail it to you first if you promise to read it fast and mail it to her. I will keep you updated.
