Kayla: Definitely recommend the Gallagher Girls series. There are 4 books out now, with the promise of a fifth.

OMG. This is the most ADHD thread! I was gone for 2 days and 15 conversations are going on within the thread. Welcome to the crazy thread Denise! Glad you came out of your shell :)
Daisy wrote: "I totally realize that I love YA dystopia books!"I have decided that some I like and some I don't..I think its one of those iffy genres for me. :)
Okay so this is not a YA book but I just had to say that I listened to
and it was so much fun to listen too! I love Molly Harper's books, she cracks me up!For a YA book I am reading
which is sort of strange.

I like reading them, but mostly I end up not liking them!

Wow Cassi.... I don't think you should let that guy get to you. Yeah, he's a prig, but I mean, it's one out of a million. What you do in this case, is ignore him and anything pertaining to him and focus on other things. I'd say it'd be reasonable if you were being ganged up on by quite a few people. You told him how you felt, if he's going to call you prejudice because HE'S the prejudice one, that's his problem. People online can think they're the smartest genius in the world when they're actually minuscule. You stuck up for yourself very well in my opinion though. :)
I think part of why it made me so mad was this is an issue I've done soul-searching on after my cousins death. And he's a debut author and he's publicly being an ass. I think I'm going to remove my review of his upcoming book from my blog, delete him from google+, unfollow and not recommend his book to anyone. If I were an asshole like he is I would take this to the blogsphere & create a mess. I'll tell people the truth if it comes up but I'm not going to personally try to take him down or anything (though it's tempting. Have you ever heard the quote about not angering people who buy ink by the barrel?)
He's been very silent on it but that doesn't make up for him being so judgmental in the first place. I am owed an apology and the clock has been ticking for too long for it to mean anything at this point.
Yeah, I know what you mean Cassi. And I think by you not suggesting his book or even if you hear people talking about it, tell them that the guy is rude and his book isn't worth the time or money. There's nothing worse for an author then for their book to get bad reviews/bad buying rates. But yes, I'd say delete him from your life.
Catie wrote: "I'm not going to read his book now, for sure."That's why I didn't understand why he said it and furthermore why he didn't immediately apologize.
Well, I looked that guys book up and it didn't seem like my sort of book..lol. So I guess I won't be missing anything cause I won't read it.

An ecopy or an ARC copy can be provided via the Author
Just finished Tempus by Tyra Lynn....wow just Wow. It was the most well written YA paranormal romance novel I have ever read and my favorite to date which says a lot. It blew me away which is very difficult to do. I read a lot, as in 2-3 books a week and am an adult who loves YA books, so I like lots of books, buts only really really love a few. This was one!It goes into a category with a bunch of my favorite great YA Indie reads: the Celestra Series by Addision Moore, The Zellie Wells Trilogy by Stacey Benefiel and the Talisman Series by Brenda Pandos all of which have been recent reads of mine and ALL are absolutely worth reading! I've read lots of others in between but those are my stand outs.
