Oh dear.

Diana (dianadcmd) I really wish that series would get a single narrator! All of the ICE narrators were very good except for Lauren Fortgang who's gone on my never-again list. But when narrators lack context they make mistakes that can be grating. American Genny got a British accent in one book and then there was that unfortunate Charlie Chan thing.

Vic (vicaet) | 494 comments Di - I knew Lauren Fortgang rang a bell for books I'd listened to but I couldn't place so I had to look at my iTunes library for it. Turns out it was all 3 books from Jennifer Estep. I REALLY didn't care for her narration in books 1 & 2 but was able to push through and listen to books. Book 3 was better. While listening to books, part of my dissatisfaction was due to narration and part to writing style. But, she doesn't inspire me to buy another book she narrates.

Krissie | 224 comments I didn't mind Lauren Fortgang, even with mistakes, but I wasn't crazy about the narrator of the first book. She had a lot of pauses -- I like my narrators to be read smoothly.

I have tried but can't find a refernece to Fire and Ice- Is this the Julie Garwood book? Or something else?

I just finiahed Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost One Foot in the Grave (Night Huntress, #2) by Jeaniene Frost In the middle of At Grave's End (Night Huntress, #3) by Jeaniene Frost also Pagan Babies by Elmore Leonard which is really enjoyable the narrator is first class ( will find out and post his name- one to keep in mind).

Lea's Audiobooks Hensley (leahensleysaudiobooks) I'm pretty sure that the Fire and Ice Diana is referencing is written by Anne Stuart. It's the latest in her ICE series and was released within the past few weeks.
