It was in your profile Jammies.

Oh. Derp. *blush*

Heidi wrote, I think Gus is less concerned about stalkers and more impressed that now he's been enabled to stalk. :)

Agreed.

Sarah Pi wrote, And here I was planning on driving south til I passed the volcano in North Carolina and then going door to door til I found a walking reel to reel named Gus.

I shouldn't be hard to find; just listen for that steady stream of profanities spewing from that house right on the NC/SC state line.

Mine's a country club, so maybe open all year?

I've only been there to go swimming when I was young.
My bathing suit was too big and the bottom slid down when I jumped out. I sat on the edge of the pool for EONS, wishing I would just disappear.

message 55: by smetchie (new)

smetchie | 4034 comments I love this.

message 56: by smetchie (new)

smetchie | 4034 comments woah! Gail! You actually placed my icon really close to my actual house. Impressive. I'll go stand on that street corner and wait patiently for my stalker now!

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
I did that too! Then I felt stalkerish and had to go bake some cookies to recover.

message 58: by Carol (new)

Carol | 1678 comments we already know about the cookies, Sally

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) My tummy is rumbling. :(

message 60: by Jammies (new)

Jammies We knew about that too, Stacia.

How did you know about my cookies?

message 66: by smetchie (new)

smetchie | 4034 comments HAHAHA Carol! You just made me chortle unexpectedly!

message 67: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
Which are the best sort of chortles.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) A planned chortle never really works out, does it?

message 69: by Michele (new)

Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 1970 comments I am impressed. I trust I am the "Michele" in NH?

message 70: by [deleted user] (new)

Have I placed you in the wrong spot Michele?

I love this map. Everyone, message Gail and get yourself placed on the map!

message 72: by Hanna (new)

Hanna (ohanners) | 202 comments This is really cool, Gail! It would be a fun world tour just visiting all TC members...don't worry, I can sleep in a closet quite comfortably!

message 73: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Gail has snakes in her closets.

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

Hanna you are now on the map. Don't listen to Larry there are no snakes in my closet...well there weren't when I last checked. :P

message 75: by [deleted user] (new)

I've got 2 spare bedrooms, plus a comfy couch, so we can have a nice sleepover, should anyone care to pay me a visit.

Trust me, we'll have fun yelling obscenities at the rednecks nearby.

message 76: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments You have rednecks near you? Who'd a thunk.

message 77: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, especially the ones who love mudslingin' and shit like that.

message 78: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay, I have finally figured out how to add my own icons and I’ve been playing with the map. Any suggestions for changes of other peoples icons will be given due consideration.

I actually really like the neighborhood you moved me to, too. It is a very nice, nearly hundred year old neighborhood right by the open space parks. I could ski on snowy days instead of walk!

message 81: by [deleted user] (new)

Glad you like the changes Sally! :)

I think Clark's description is still the most stunning.

message 83: by [deleted user] (new)

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? (and why, when I type thing does a 'k' slip in rather than a 'g'.)

message 84: by [deleted user] (new)

I really like Clark. He often says things I wouldn't have the balls to say.

message 85: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
Good. Very apt.

message 86: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Balls said the Queen. For she had none.

*ducks*

message 88: by [deleted user] (new)

I felt like swearing, so I tossed it in there.

Gail "cyborg" wrote: "I really like Clark. He often says things I wouldn't have the balls to say."

Stick with me kid and you'll soon have the female equivalent of testicular fortitude.

Larry wrote: "Balls said the Queen. For she had none."

Balls said the Queen. If I had them I'd be King.

message 91: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) Gail, could you move me over to the left, please? If you zoom in, you'll find Grande Prairie. Thanks so much. I love the new icons. :)

message 92: by [deleted user] (new)

Janice wrote: "Gail, could you move me over to the left, please? If you zoom in, you'll find Grande Prairie. Thanks so much. I love the new icons. :)"

Sure Janice. I wasn't sure exactly where to put you. :)

BunWat wrote: "Hey! I'm not on the map any more?
:("

Yes you are, you are just hiding behind a few other people. Your area is getting pretty crowded. You need to take a closer look.

message 93: by [deleted user] (new)

BunWat wrote: "Hey! I'm not on the map any more?

I'll find a better icon for you. I wasn't happy with the one I gave you.

message 94: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
Yes, if you look closer, that's when it gets really cool.

But at first I was confused by my icon, because I look like a red moon rising out of Petra's mailbox. Or something.

message 95: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) Thanks Gail. :)

message 96: by [deleted user] (new)

My pleasure.

message 97: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
Janice, I refuse to believe that is your real location.

message 98: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) Sally wrote: "Janice, I refuse to believe that is your real location."

Believe it! I'm way up in the sticks and wilds of Northern Alberta. I'm curious - where did you think that I might be located?

message 99: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
In a city? Near some roads?

message 100: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) I work in the city, about 20 miles from my house. It takes about half an hour to get there. We are on secondary highway #666. If you zoom in enough, you'll see highway 40 and then secondary 666.
