What Color Are Your Fingernails?

I'd love to see some pictures of her work - can you post them for us?

I'd l..."
I was telling her about bragging about her talents and told her I wanted to post some pix, but I don't know how because you have to go through photobucket and then some other stuff that I just don't understand. She tried explaining it to me (because she was flattered someone wanted to see her work) but my brain completely flatlined about half way through. She said she's going to show me how to do it, so, hopefully, I'll be able to start posting some of her stuff up.

Yeah, Angela, as long as the pictures are on your computer you can use free services (like flickr, photobucket, etc..) to "host" them online. Then you just use the html code (Goodreads shows in the "some html is ok" link) to stick them in the thread. After you do it once it'll seem easy. :-)

Oh, and my nails are painted with Zoya Sam.

I think this was taken the same day I did it, so there were a few smeary bits on the skin. It washes off in the shower though.

Love. I prefer dark colors but I'm sick of black, and I like that little greenish hint in there.

p.s. right now my nails are "Midnight in Moscow.""
Midnight in Moscow is one of my favorite OPI colors!

smetchie-wetchie, you know that a lot of nailbiters swear by using polish as a deterrent?
And I'm talking about everything but the color on my nails, because it is bland, blah, boooooooooring beige.

Probably not a rave. Maybe he lost a bet with his (~15 year old) daughter.

I like some of these colors in theory, but I can't pull off the neat glossy look for more than an hour or two. My fingers get dinged, banged, bumped, chipped.
I like @84 for an automobile finish.

Wow I'm impressed, a zombie with a beauty blog.

Laurin, that is a great color combo!
janine, what color are the glitters?
Gertie, if you want Diamond in the Rough, you'd better call your local Walgreens reeeeeeeeally quickly!

It's a perfect subtle choice!

That's what I was going for. Usually my nails are pretty outrageous, like hot pink with black crackle or purple glitter. That's one of the great things about my job, I work from home so no one can tell me what to wear/what nail polish I can wear :)

Laurin, I work for my mom, so I have some leeway on nail colors--this week's manicure is blue/purple/fuschia gradient with black zebra stripes and blue & fuschia glitter on top.

Muppet's Rainbow Connection - OPI
not over a white background, just on my nails.
She swiped them side to side, one above the other. The swipes were slanted, I guess you'd say. The bottom stripe started at the very bottom corner on one side of her nail, but ended about a third of the way up on the other side. I don't know if I'm describing it all that wonderfully. The next stripe was the same width from side to side then she painted what was left at the top, which was just the opposite of the first swipe (wide on the first side, slimming down to just a corner on the other side). I hope that made even the tiniest bit of sense. I would post a pic, but I still haven't figured out how.
