Eileen, that wasn't a slam from janine, she was just commenting on the sudden re-sizing of pictures. It's happened to janine, Barb and myself.

WIC by Herôme - GrunA nail polish named after my hometown, how could I resist?

This didn't want to be photographed properly. It's orange-er, brighter, and just generally more awesome in person. Also, yes, I still have the hands of a giant.
Ooh! What color is that? It's gorgeous.I just have some shimmery turquoise on my toes and some generic multicolored glitter on my fingers. It's time for a change.
Amber, Barb and Janine have their own theme song..."Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey" -- Paul McCartney
(Giant) Hands across the water...
Fingers and toes still have the same color. I'm trying to decide what color to paint them, but it's always so difficult!
Barb wrote: "Oooooh! Amber-with-giant-fingers, I lurve that colour!"Sinful Colors Rise & Shine, available at many American drugstores for $1.99 + tax.

Ooh, I'll have to see if my Duane Reade has that one; it really is a beautiful color. I buy Sinful a lot cause they're so cheap and have a great range of colors, but I find the formulas can be a bit hit-or-miss. Some of them are really thin and streaky. Does that one apply decently?
By the way, the way I got that image to shrink down from 3 feet wide was by typing width="400" height="280" after the .jpg"

Sorry I missed these posts, I haven't been on much. That particular Sinful shade (Rise and Shine) does go on quite nicely. It also has a bit of a matte finish (which is probably being altered by topcoat in the picture I posted). Today I just cleaned my most recent shade off my nails and am giving them a day of rest. Until a few hours ago they looked like this:

Hey jammies, as our polish and nails guru, can you give me some advice on proper cuticle care? Mine always look like shit and I'm not sure how to best take care of them.(And thanks to LG for the height/width pointer. I was getting sick of all my pics being ginormous.)

Wash your hands with the gentlest soap possible immediately after using polish remover, use acetone-free remover whenever possible, and moisturize your cuticles as often as you can, especially after using a harsh soap. Hope that helps!
j9, I think I like the goat better than the polish. :)
Today, I am wearing Borghese's Borghese Red with OPI's Go with the Flow-er... 2 coats of a hot pink shimmer
under a coat of red gloss

My fingernails look like mini candy apples.
I am so jealous of anyone with pretty nails right now. I made a gum paste elephant to sit on top of a circus cake this weekend and my nails are still gross and black and dirty looking from the food coloring.
I just painted mine with OPI "Who the Shrek Are You?" last night, and then when eating a sandwich for lunch today realized my nails were the exact same color as the avocado on it.
(not my hand)
My toes are are currently painted with OPI "Absolutely Alice" -- nice and glittery.

(again, not my pic)

Mm, love the first one, hate the second.
I hate the glitter.

I lurve glitter, although I don't have Absolutely Alice, I do have lots of glittery blue polishes. I may have to rethink the copper on my toesies.Heiderson, your mini-candy apple layering sounds perfect!
My fingernails are now a soft white with very tiny green, blue, purple, pink and copper glitter.
I've waffled on getting that one or Riveting, Barb, but I decided I'm happy with the only polish I got from that collection (Harvest Moon).
I saw this in the store today but didn't buy it. Vampsterdam. I think it was $10, is that normal??
Yes, LG, it's from OPI's Holland Collection, so that's a fair retail price, but if you look, you can find it cheaper online. http://www.aluxabeauty.com/opinailpol...
Today I bought Revlon Naughty

and I'm excited about this one, Revlon Muse

For toes, because I don't do fingers.

Not the ones I see! They're exactly the same size.
