Ha! I found you on there, after first wondering if you were Jamie (the first one) or Jami (second). You were neither, simply remaining yourself.Funniest thing for me is the typo in the first description (Jamie).
"Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Christ"
I'm guessing the "t" wasn't supposed to be on the end.
Laurin, I love the color combo, and I am intrigued by the idea of crackle on the bottom.Barb, aren't magnetics fun to play with? I got a copper one this weekend, and I also have blue, purple, burgundy and grey-green.
My nails are currently purple and purple and white in my first decent water marble!
Carol, water marbling is a process where you float polish on top of water, swirling different colors together and then dip your nails. Here's what mine look like: http://baublesandbubbles.blogspot.com...And if you search "Water marble tutorial" on YouTube, you will see lots of incredible videos.

Thanks! The crackle on the bottom turned out fairly well. It would have worked better with a thinner/lighter glitter. It was kinda hard to see unless you looked closely.
Just when you thought it was safe to paint your nails, several polishes are linked to birth defects despite manufacturer's claims that they do not contain the "toxic trio" of toluene, dibutyl phthalate and formaldehyde.
Interesting, Phil. Some of the specific colors they tested were pretty old, so it's possible the brand is now three-free and yet a specific nail polish isn't. I wasn't surprised that Zoya would be one of the ones that is completely three-free, because the company was founded specifically to make nail polish without toluene, dibutyl phthalate and formaldehyde.
I just bit off my dark blue and couldn't find it so I went with electric pink, it balances out my darkish clothes a little :)

Barb, it's beautiful! And soooo much better than my first water marble. I can tell you that the more you practice the better you get--it only takes me about 30 minutes now.

I think I can read the DNA sequencing on your genes.

At the drugstore today I sampled a bit of something very dark red, almost black, by Sally Hansen. I really liked it, but immediately my hair fell down and made pathways in the wet polish. This is why I don't even bother with polish. One of the reasons. Stuff gets in it. It's perfect for all of 4 seconds.

I also tried a bit of Sally Hansen Haute Chocolate

and Gray by Gray

and I was a little tempted by Rimmel Rags to Riches

but I couldn't get the bottle open. It looked darker and more appealing in the bottle.

Have you tried a quick-dry polish, LG?
I can't remember if I've tried a quickdry polish. I think I did years ago.
I have tried haircuts.
I have tried haircuts.
I have tried them, yes. Worn thousands. But I don't wear them anymore because they leave dents in your hair.
Barb wrote: "I got some new nail stencils and pens today!"Oooh, what did you get?
LG, there are new quick dry polishes that are pretty good. And btw, please don't tell me if you are one of those annoying people who open up and use drugstore nail polish and then put it back on the shelf.

(not my nails)
You can't really tell from the picture, but it's a holo that's a little bit shy.
Hi, I'm new and I was looking thru the threads and saw this! One of my favorite topics. I always paint my nails. Heres what I'm wearing today, sorry the picture isn't that great. I've really been into sparkle nail polish lately.[image error]
Just got back from the salon: Mine are now "Get in the Espresso Lane."Mondays suck, so the husband and I started ours with mani/ pedis. It really does help, especially if you worked all weekend!
Hi Eileen, hi Amy, and welcome to TC!Eileen, I am almost always into sparkle.
Amy, I love brown nail polish.
Heiderson, I didn't get anything from Smoke & Mirrors when those polishes came out, but I have heard good things about the green.
