Hi, DeeDee, my first series was paranormal romantic comedy and my new book, Dark Companion, is a YA Gothic that's an homage to Jane Eyre and classic gothics. You can read about it somewhere here.

Someone please tell me that unicorns aren't coming back! I just saw Glee and I'm afraid of a whole unicorn trend. Because with unicorns comes pastel colors and sparkles. I could never understand the dragon paranormals.

Hi everyone. :) I'm Ashleigh, though I prefer to be called Ashe. I'm on the older side for a YA reader, but I'm obsessed. They're my favorite. I can't even begin to pick favorite books, though Nevermore by Kelly Creagh has my heart. I love Ellen Hopkins. I'm about to start the Vampire Academy series. I'm not a huge fan of Twilight, but I did read and enjoy them. I love Harry Potter. I enjoy reading about addiction. It's an obsession. Outside of the YA area I love classic literature. Jane Austen, Edgar Allen Poe, William Shakespeare, etc. Christopher Pike is my favorite author ever, I've been reading his stuff since the 90s. Now that they are reprinting a lot of it, people are finally aware of who I'm talking about when I say his name. LOL. Anyways I'm rambling. It's nice to meet you all. :)

Hello Ashe! My names DeeDee, I'm 24 and I live in England. I love reading and write as well. You like a lot of genres! I'm pretty much the same, I'll read almost anything with romance and adventure in it!!!

Hi DeeDee. To be honest, I'll read pretty much anything I can get my hands on. From romance to action to horror to goth. I'm currently back on an Ellen Hopkins kick. I just got my kindle, and since I got it I've been reading her books left and right. I'm finally almost done with the Crank series (I'd only ever read Crank and I couldn't remember it because it was so long ago.) When I finish it I'll be reading Perfect (one of her newest novels) since my husband bought it for me last night. after that, I think I'll finally be starting the Vampire Academy Series. I'd have to say if I had to choose a genre I tend to stick to it would be paranormal romance, but I read so much more than that. LOL.

I LOVE my kindle!!! It's so great! I love that I no longer have to carry around a brick of a novel in my bag and now have more room for my make-up! I love that I can try new authors so cheap! I love buying a book....and reading it ten seconds later! (You may have noticed an addiction to exclamation marks, sadly there is no cure!!!)

I'm not keen on football either, but my uncle's love it, I can manage about half a game but then.....then I tend to fall asleep! Motor sports as in Grand Prix or in America Nascar.
