jD (jd_4everbooked) | 152 comments I was recently exchanging banter with another Goodreads friend and we both agreed that Sam and Sookie were not right for each other. Previously, I was chatting with someone about Mercheres from Night Huntress World and the same thing came up. A few people thought the woman was all wrong for him. I am now reading Amaury's Hellion by Tina Folsom and the heroine is hard to take. So I am thinking, is it possible we, as readers, have some preferences about what type of woman our unmated paranormal heros should have? Perhaps a few writers will take our hints (if we provide them).

I'll start...Ian from Night Huntress needs an experienced woman, powerful, and nasty. She should not be human 'cause she's gonna have to fight somebody if she's with Ian. Also, she should not be afraid to slap him every so often.

jD (jd_4everbooked) | 152 comments I am patiently waiting for Cassie and Pitkin to hookup. It's got to be coming.

Emma | 20 comments lol it's not just me who thinks its obvious then :D cant wait to see the fireworks fly from mircea when that happens

jD (jd_4everbooked) | 152 comments Pitkin can handle him if push comes to shove, at least he can get away. Mircea is a force unto himself. Cassie does not deserve either one of them but at least Pitkin demands she uses her brain. She is more likely to do some growing up if she gets together with him. Mircea is too tolerant of her immaturity.

jD (jd_4everbooked) | 152 comments I am thinking I need to go back and read the last one. I barely remember what happened other than the vamp headquarters blew up and some of those monsters got out. I also recall some kind of race across time and space that made my head spin. At least I hope that was Cassie and not Dory's book. I am thinking I will re-read that last book.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) At first I thought this thread was going to a be a cross-over thread where we matched people together from different series. That would have been fun!

Ooohhh, Stacia--that really IS a good idea.

Ok, I know its weird, but I do like Sam--so who from what series would you all suggest for him?

Now Madelyn Alt's Bewitching Mystery series (more cozy mystery, but there are definate paranormal elements) has a really good "mentor" type character named Liss that I really like. She's English, in her 50's, beautiful, a witch, and widowed. I hadn't thought about a "cross author/series" match up, but now that its been mentioned. . . I'll have to give it some serious consideration.

Irene Hollimon | 182 comments I love Mircea. He's on my "free" list. My husband and I each have "free" lists. That is a list of persons that if they call you, you get to spend the night with them, no arguments, no questions asked.
My husband has Britney Spears and Madonna on his free list. I know Madonna!!! Yeck!!! But if any of those ladies call him, he can have at.

Now Madelyn Alt's Bewitching My..."

I think Sam and Mercy Thompson would get on well. She's strong willed and able to run with him in the wild. He's nurturing without being all super macho and telling her what to do. I think the'd work well.

And as for the Madonna thing... Well, I went to see her in 1985 and she looked pretty good then. She also looked good in the early 90's when she did Sex. Irene, can you update the list as the decades go on?
