I decided not to have a number goal this year, because I want my reading to be stress-free. I am still going to keep track though. I also would like to focus more on books I own and integrate more classics.

Book 1: Completed 1/9/11 The Language of Trees by Ilie Ruby.I gave it 5 stars, it had a little bit of everything, love, loss, friendship, mystery, magical realism, history. Overall, I found it a book to get lost in for awhile.
Book 2: Completed 1/17/11 The True Story of Hansel and Gretel by Louise Murphy . This novel was a modern take on the classic fairy tale as a Holocaust story. A very powerful novel.
Book 3: Completed 1/21/11 Ten Big Ones by Janet Evanovich. Always fun. Got a few good laughs. I was in the mood for something light.
You might like Howards End is on the Landing: A Year of Reading from Home, a book about reading books you already own. It's a charming book and lots of good reminders of the classics. I like the Stephanie Plum books for a good laugh too.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into it. It interesting that their is a book about this concept. Yes, Stephanie Plum is always good for a laugh or too!
