Like I said, we are a twisted bunch! Like a box of pretzels we are. Chocolate covered, of course. :)
Kathryn, you have book titles as your A-Z, but this challenge is series name. So, for example, Magic Slays from the Kate Daniels series would work for letter "K". The clue was when you said you cheated and used more than 1 book from a series. I thought, "Hmmm...it's impossible to use more than 1 book from a series..." Lol. :)And Judithe, for the crazy letters, can we use a word other than the first word in a series name? For example, can I use "Jane Yellowrock" for "Y"?
ETA: Oh, I guess I could use that for "Y" since she's the main character, and we can use character names for the crazy letters. But I don't want to use character names! I already have a "Q" and a "Z" series, I want to keep up the streak. :)
Ok, forget it. I found a "Y" series, which is good, since I need Jane Yellowrock for my "J". Just disregard me. ;)
LOL! Guess it's good I've been away from the PC! I can't wait to see your list! Thanks for taking a good look at lists, too...that's on my "TO DO" list...can't let the TBR slim down...lol!
@Steph....How do you do the links to posts? I seem to only link it to the thread...but you managed that trick in another challenge...
I'll post it tomorrow (1:13am here). I still need to do a bit of digging for a few. I filled in what I could from my TBR, but I'm gonna have to go searching for a few stragglers. And I was looking at everyone's list to get ideas for my own--I just didn't want Kathryn to get in the thick of it before she realized her mistake. :)
Oh, and to link directly to a specific post, right click on the date/time the post was made, over on the right hand side, then choose "copy link location".
Thank you!! So, I'll get the links updated in the near future...Hope you enjoyed a very nice sleep and relaxed wake-up time for the weekend!

Judithe wrote: "What a lovely, lengthy list! Have fun!"A bunch of those are alternates. When I make my long term challenge lists, some categories I have more than one that will fit, so I just throw them both on there. Gives me more leeway when making stuff fit into monthly challenges.

I think I have a nice mix of UF & Fantasy. I scheduled myself for too much UF & PNR last year and had a major hankering for some straight fantasy, but it wasn't on the schedule. :) So I tried to give myself a good mix, so I can read either genre when the mood strikes. :)
I do the same...this one, I've listed some alternate series. I'm checking off whenever one is done, but wanting to end up with at least one new read for each letter.
Whoo hoo!! I've been wanting to do one of these!O

Whoohoo! I got lucky with Touch of Power giving me the name Quain. Thank you, Netgalley for helping complete this challenge.Duration: January 1, 2011 - December 31, 2011

Glad to see ya here, Ames!!!I've got some of your just reads on my TBR...glad to see your rankings! What did/do you think of the Inside Out series? Another one I'm wobbling about picking up....
I loved Outside In! I was so close to giving it 5 stars. The first one was just okay IMO (3 stars) but this one was a big improvement and made reading Inside Out totally worth it.Oh, and even though I gave Pale Demon 3 stars, it actually deserved 4 stars but I got angry about a couple of things related to where the series was heading and subtracted a star because of it so don't let that put you off :)
I can't resist!!!! Is it too late to join? :)I'll post and you can tell me if I need to delete ;)

Hi all! Just updated links on page 1. Please let me know if I missed anyone or a link to your post is incorrect!...Now back to reading...it is OFFICIALLY February 1, and, as my reward for being such a busy bee today, gonna go curl up in my futon and enjoy a long awaited read! List updates can most certainly wait! :D
Maybe it melted away in the post....shudder...wouldn't that be evil...I'm sure it will distract you from the soaring temps as soon as it reaches your hands!
That's what I'm hoping. Postie gets here about 2.30pm and whatever I'm reading when it hits is gonna get dropped! You just never know with BD, I've had some books in 5 days, some take 4 weeks, and that's from the shipped date. Still it will be quicker than if I just bought it here and at a third the price too.
Drats! Mine shipped on 26 Jan, so I've probably got another coupl'a days yet. I shouldn't complain, I'm happy BD ships to me at all!
