Baby bats saved from the floods in Australia.

message 217: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Several local news sources are reporting a large green flaming something (most experts are guessing a meteor containing copper) fell out of the sky over Arkansas tonight, and was spotted as far away as Florida. I was at the laundromat, so I missed the excitement.

I think Heidi the opossum is kind of cute, has a great name, and is waaaaay more worthy of being a Heidi than some of the other ones (who I won't mention by name).

This bird, while perhaps it is not the most attractive bird I have seen, has an impressive dignity about it which I find awesome.

I love them. They have the most thankless job. They're Mother Nature's garbagemen.

Sarah | 13814 comments Has anybody seen the video with the fainting kittens? Is that a real condition, or just a freak thing with those particular kittens? I've heard of fainting goats.

Lori How come my dog doesn't do this? https://www.facebook.com/video/video....

message 247: by Lori (new)

Lori Well, we have nothing to fear about the emd because the Duggars will save us as they keep multiplying - the eldest daughter is pregnant again. And there are many other daughters too!

message 248: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments That's not the eldest daughter. That's the wife of the eldest son.

I'm ashamed I know that.

message 249: by Lori (new)

Lori Hahaha Sarah!

Haha I thought you were playing with the letters substituting a D for a B. But there really are Duggers and any self-respecting rabbit would be proud to call them family.
