Kelley, I still get blown away when I see your reading list. And very jealous! I think it's great how you can do that!

I couldn't believe what happened to Damon. I just hope he won´t come back as a ghost or wraith.

I hope not either Sara! I'm going to read the next book in that series from the library
Finished
, another good one by JQ. This one even seemed a little "warmer" than the last couple I read by her. Still not super steamy, but it seemed like there was more attraction and tension between the h/H than some others. It was a very good story though. Have you read it's partner yet,
? I read that one a few months ago, so I knew what was going to happen, but it was neat seeing it from the other characters' perspectives. I wouldn't recommend reading them back to back though, too much is similar.
In case anyone's interested, I really wouldn't recommend
, I'm struggling to finish it, and I'm only persevering because it'll help with two challenges I'm doing. It's books like this one that make me think I could do a better job myself... haven't thought that in a while...
I just finished A dance with Dragons by George RR Martin, my favorite character is Dany, it was soo good, the only negative thing is that I have to wait till next year to read the next one.
I have to all of you I loved
!I'm just finished
.I'm currently reading to:
for Tell Harlequin.I currently listening to audiobook
. I finished
- loved it.
I'm reading
, a straight-up western. Although the main guy is kinda makin' eyes at the rancher's daughter... it's not a romance. I'm about 1/3 in and so far it's pretty good. I think it's my first straight-up western (being non-romance), and I'm enjoying it so far.
Kit★, I was thinking of listening to one of Louis L'Amour's "straight-up" westerns (audiobook). There are several stories in it, narrated by Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, etc.
Lisa Kay wrote: "Kit★, I was thinking of listening to one of Louis L'Amour's "straight-up" westerns (audiobook). My grandpa had a ton of Louis L'Amour books in the yard sale last year, but I didn't know if they were part of a series or what, and y'know I hate reading series out of order, so I didn't snag 'em up. I found this one at the dollar store a couple weeks ago, and it's small, only about 200 pgs, so I figured I'd try it, since my guy's gotten me into watching a tons of westerns, we've been slowly collecting all the Eastwood's and Wayne's, as well as some newer ones too. I used to watch westerns with my dad as a kid, but really it was only to see the horses, and I didn't pay much attention to the rest of it, so I'm kinda liking getting into the genre now.
Just starting Divine Evil by Nora Roberts. Anyone read it? It seems from the description that it's a bit darker and twisted than a typical NR book. It'll be quite the departure from the Molly Harper books I just finished and greatly enjoyed.
Heather wrote: "Just starting Divine Evil by Nora Roberts. Anyone read it. It seems from the description that it's a bit darker and twisted than a typical NR book."Heather, I haven't; I'll have to check and see if my library has it when I'm in the mood for something "a bit darker and more twisted".
When you're in the mood for fun and sassy, make sure to check out Molly Harper books, Lisa Kay. If you haven't already, that is. ;-)

next month!
I'm reading
and it's pretty good so far. I read the second in the series
a couple months ago and really liked that one, so I'm glad I found this one. I also picked up the third one
today at a library book sale, along with 3 by Jo Beverley, don't remember which ones at the moment though. Yay, library sale! :D
Heather, I have read Divine Evil. I do think it's a bit darker. But I like that about her, that she rights different...types. I hope you like it.
I'm currently listening to
.I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve read this one; thought I’d try the audiobook this time. So far enjoying the narration by Rosalyn Landor.
I don't know what I'll start in paperback...
Thanks Kristi. Finished it this morning. I really enjoyed
. Got a 5 star from me. I loved these characters and though I found the romance a little lacking, the plot was very interesting and kept me fully engaged!
Yeah, I've heard that comment about her a lot lately. Her bigger novels aren't as seeped in romance as her earlier novels were. There's just a scene or two, but for the most part the stories themselves take up most of the book. Myself, I like that, but for romance fans, it doesn't seem to sit well. Which is understandable if you read NR for the romance label.
Very true, Kristi. It's it and miss lately on if I'll get mystery or romance, but I don't mind as long as I get some romance in it. HEA and all that. I wonder is she see's how popular her In Death books are and it affects her NR romance books.
Love seeing what people are reading! As soon as I buy Game of Thrones I'll start it, but I've been doing fantasy lately. I'm listeng to
and just finished Instant Temptation. I love Jill Shalvis. Now I have to read something quick before I get the August BOM or just keep going with my biography of the Queen Mum (it's about 800 pages, so I won't get bored, but honestly? it's so heavy my arms get tired.
I wanted to stick with something historical, but I think I needed a lil break from romance to savor the trilogy I just finished, so I'm going to go light and read Eragon next. I watched the movie couple of years ago, and only just recently picked up a copy of the book, so hopefully I'll like it a lot.
In the middle of
. How is it taken me this long to find Pamela Clare? My third book by her in as many months and I've been sucked into and loved them all. Might as well just put her entire catalog in my TBR list.
I'm 1/3 done with
I'm a huge Connie Brockway fan but this is one of her older ones and it hasn't grabbed me yet. I'll finishe it, though.

Mig..."Heather I know what you mean, I get like that sometimes with a new-to-me author. Like a secret everyone else was in on and I've stumbled upon late... but better late than never! :-)
CaroB wrote: "Heather I know what you mean, I get like that sometimes with a new-to-me author. "Exactly. I've found so many authors these last few months that I've fallen in love with their words!
Just finished
. Loved it. Want to consume #4 in the I-Team series, but have so many other books I need to get too first. Sophie and Hunt were a great couple and loved reading their love story.
Megan wrote: "I'm finally reading
and I'm loving it!! :o)"I finally made it to the top of the list for the audio at the library and picked it up today. 28 CDs long, it's gonna take me the whole three weeks to finish it. LOL
I just finished The Amorous Education of Celia Seaton by Miranda Neville, be still my heart what a great read. Just noted a giveaway at new york journal of books. I recommend this one, here's the link if you're feeling lucky:http://www.nyjournalofbooks.com/givea...
I started reading This Side of the Gravewhich is the latest addition in the Night Huntress series. I absolutely love Cat and Bones, but have just come across 2 secondary characters that are suddenly in a couple and hadn't been in the previous book in this series (though for one of them, there'd been hints that there was an attraction there). Now I'm annoyed, because I've realised their stories are part of the Night Huntress World series and runs concurrently with the Cat and Bones storyline, and has made me want to stop my current read to catch-up on their stories. Not sure if I'm making any sense, just annoyed and wanted a rant... why not just make them part of the first series? Grumph!
