I'm really enjoying
Looks like it'll be a good solid **** at least! Well, unless the last 50 pages tank. I can see why some might not enjoy it. Sarah is gay and in her first relationship. Lots of guilt from dear old Dad, small town upbringing, etc. Makes for a rocky road. Small amount of kissing, touching, etc., but nothing terribly graphic. I'm really loving the Norse Gods, 6 foot tall dwarves, ogres, and giants. Refreshing after so many vampires and weres.
I just finished
and really sad the next book is 1 year away. I'm going to start
- has my three favorite authors and
Really enjoying
at the moment. I'm also reading
which currently doesn't seem to be going anywhere despite the promising premise.
So jealous Sandra, I haven't picked up SERPENT's KISS yet so I am reading
for bingo. Also finished
which was a great start to a new series thats a 25 yr flash forward from where her Riley Jensen series left off. But I'm a big Keri Arthur fan...
Serpent's Kiss is going great. Ooohhhh, new cover for
and I've got Darkness Unbound but haven't got to it yet, glad you liked it.

and absolutely loved it!"Yay!
was quite good. Many sensitive issues addressed.
wasn't as good as its predecessor, a bit boring.
was nerdilicious. This is REAL science fiction. By the author who wrote the books which were adapted into Bones tv series. It's Bones crossed with The Big Bang Theory.

. If I wasn't completely swamped at work, I'd be taking the day o..."I just plowed through the series as well the last few days. I had a hard time at first really liking the first book but I got hooked. Now we must wait until May next year for Andrea's book and 2013 for the next Kate book, very annoying.
It seems quite a popular one lately Ames, hope you like it :)I've finished
and going onto
- what a great name!I'm still chugging through Covet and I also picked up Iron Crowned from the library a week or so ago but just cba to read it. I mean, I know it's going to p*ss me off, right? So, why put myself through it?
Loved
and have gone back to
It is much better now I've passed all the set up world building, in fact it is very dark....
Back into the Jaz series trying to get thru by the end of the year and halfway thru
and happy to be reading
for Bingo.Re-visiting the Masters of Time on Audio, and currently listening to
.
Currently Reading:
-because I'm reviewing this series for my blog &
-to balance out the suckitude of LotW. And because I have zero self-restraint. o_O
Lethal - I'm jealous! I love Megan Hart, but don't have Collide yet......Reading
now. Trying to locate
to read for Bingo. It's supposed to be here somewhere...... If I can't find it I guess I'll probably read
next. SIGH.....I'm really in the mood for erotic angels, not wimpy YA angels......
@ Cindy: Don't be! I didn't have it until last night either. But at $6.29 in ebook, I could resist no longer. Hart is one of the only authors I've become a rabid fangirl for. I would wash in her old bathwater if she'd let me. O_O
LOL Lethal.....I know what you mean! I still have a couple of hers here to read. Heck, I could have sent you my copy of the Lacey Alexander book you got. I don't read much contemporary erotica (unless it is also PnR) and that one has just been sitting here waiting for it's chance to be read for about 3 years..... I do like Cathryn Fox for cute, quick, almost chick-lit erotica. Her PnR's are great too!
^_^ The Alexander book has been on my TBR for a long time, too. The only reason I bought it was because it was $4 used. And I'm pretty much the same way about Contempt ER. I DO enjoy them but they're almost always in trade pb & I can't always afford that.As for Cathryn Fox, have you read
? I started it last year, put it down & haven't felt the urge to pick it back up yet. Maybe it's because I'm not a fan of novellas. Are any of her full-length books any good?
I love the Eternal Pleasure series. The first one is
. I also got a kick out of
Very fun, light read. Have a bag of oranges handy!
Thank you very much for the recs, Cindy! I'll definitely add them to my TBR. I'm almost always willing to give an author a second chance to take my money. ^_^
Finished
and gave it 4.5★, definitely worth reading if you want some dark demon action. Mind you, the beginning was slow so just take that into account.
I DNF'd
. It was just not readable which is ironic because I finished and enjoyed
which contains no speech marks and doesn't follow the proper rules of spelling, punctuation and grammar, and yet it was an easy read. Next up:
Ames that is interesting! I have heard mostly good things about Hounded, but one of my friends gave it a negative review.
Interesting Ames, I enjoyed it but I can certainly see it won't be to everyone's taste. Very definitely written by a bloke.
I've just finished reading The Last Pure Human ...again... and am waiting patiently for the next chapter. Not very patiently at all actually :P
@Ames: I'm reading
next so I'm happy it was an easy read for you. By reading the back and flicking through the pages, it kind of reminds me of the 'Chaos Walking' trilogy by Patrick Ness, regarding the writing style. @Regina: I'm so excited to read
, I got an email from the library saying it's available! Yipee!I finished
- such a cool book name! I went into it without properly reading the synopsis and so was a little disappointed it was a fae book but it was pretty awesome anyway and will definitely be reading the next one :)

It's been a while since the last chapter was posted. I have a look every now and then but still waiting.
@Josie: You've inspired me to reserve
at my library. I keep seeing it everywhere. I hope you like Blood Red Road.
Just finished
. OK, but not great.....Next up is
for Bingo. Then
and
followed closely by
and
Once I finish these it should be just about November......
Started
this morning as I needed a book to read while waiting for various appointments etc. Nearly finished it and I like :D
Lethal - what is the Wonderfully Wicked Read-a-Thon? I'm reading
for Bingo. Must get off the computer and keep reading!
