I'm back...Kiss of Snow kept me away from everything (well, did work and feed the kid)....LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Hope you get yours something like yesterday, Sandra! Also looking forward to re-reading it when my PB comes in the fall, LOL! Looking forward to talking about it SOON, too!
is here, have one Kate to read before the June release (which is also on it's way!~and another half-dozen pre-orders along with it!) June is a very happy month!!
Zina, interested to hear what you think of this one. I just picked up
by the same author.About to rush away and start
Really looking forward to this, first 2 books in the series were 5 stars for me.
Finished
and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to #2 in Aug. LOVE it when there's less than 12 months between releases. Since I'd
within minutes of downloading it, I decided to read that one in full. Then, I'll move onto
. Glad to hear you enjoyed it Vivian!I haven't joined a single challenge for June. I'm guessing at this point I'll hold off, read these and then see what's what.
Hope everyone's copy arrives soon!
Zina- I've heard good things about that. Its been sitting in my tbr for awhile now. Did Steph say no June challenges?? ::looks skeptical:: It's only been a day...
Finishing up the Mistborn trilogy with
. May also start
LOL! I normally sign up for all of ours and at least 2-4 add'l monthlies, but haven't had time to look for books to fill them. I'll poke through them soon though, I'm sure. :)ETA: That's a pretty cover (Steel Corset).
Steel Corset is actually an ARC from NetGalley, but I'm not sure if it's still on there. I'm a sucker for pretty YA covers.
Just finished
another 5 star book. Yay! This is scifi romance but based on earth. This series is great!
Vivian wrote: "Steel Corset is actually an ARC from NetGalley, but I'm not sure if it's still on there. I'm a sucker for pretty YA covers."Seems like YA books tend to have better (looking) covers than adult bks, or is it just me? :)
YAY Sandra! I have moved that series up on my TBR list.
Starting
. Apparently it's a good palate cleanser after being on a Kate Daniels bender, so I'm using it while I wait for Magic Slays to arrive.

... Loved it!! Working on
, then on to
. I hope my house can magically clean itself, priorities, priorities...
LOL! I'm with you, Lis! Can we add "get everything done online ---- GR, school, blog" to that list?! Please! :D
Finished
as well and loved it! Can't wait for next year now, to get the next instalment. I finally started on
, which has been waiting in my bookshelf very patiently.
Thanks, Steph! I though Mercy might be the only one able to console me over having finished with my beloved Kate and Curren, lol!

Yes I'm dreading that last-book feeling too. Still waiting for Magic Slays, but I might draw it out instead of powering through it like the last 4 hehe.

Hehehe....so true!
Hehehe....so true!
Oh man, I haven't even got that far in the Psy-Changeling series but I'm still desperate to read it since it's Hawke's book! Glad you're loving it :)
@Moss: I meant to take my time with Magic Slays, but once I got started on it, I just couldn't put it down.

Heh, yes I suspect I will be the same in spite of wanting to take it slow. How long do we have to wait before the next one, does anyone know?

Waiting, waiting, pacing, waiting a bit more ..... for Steph to announce the Categories for CC4 .....
Will be starting book #6 of The Neon GraveyardThis was the first UF series I ever read (Zodiac Series) and introduced me to the sub-genre--my mother had suggested that I read it, and in this case I can say that mother really does know best!!
I fell in love with the feisty, kick-ass, save-the-world heroine type.
The first book in the series if anyone's interested:
The Scent of Shadows
@ kerstin -- it was the same for me. I miss it already. :( I am reading a bunch of books, but as for books in this genre (kinda) I am reading
and am LOVING it. I have #2 in the series from netgalley:
Just finished
and it was more than I thought it would be. I have read a few of Dekker's books but this was like none I have read from him. Very interesting book and I would recommend this book to anyone that likes thrillers.
@ Regina, I'm still sad about having finished. And I suppose we have to wait for an entire year until the next one comes out :("Aftertime" sounds good though, I might have to add it to my list.
I've just started on
and it seems to be a fun read.
@Regina ~ I have Aftertime TBR. I'll have to move it up.@Kerstin ~ I really liked that one. Speaking of, I should move #2-3 to the front of the stack, so I don't forget about them.
I finished Eternal Rider and gave it 3.5★. Kinda bummed b/c all of Demonica was 4-5★ for me. But, it was a good start to the series. I'm looking forward to Famine's story next.
Ah Steph that is a bummer. :( I just love the cover of Tempest Rising, I keep meanign to read it. Thanks Tracy, I have wondered about Dekker's books.
I just started a short novella from the Troubleshooters series by Brockmann, I am not a romance person it takes something alot more for me to get into romance themed books and this series is this, this novella is so amazing:
I also just started
Hi everyone:-)Right now I'm reading the last 100 pages in The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan, it's a very interesting book.
