What are you reading right now?
I'd say
would be worth the purchase. I also really loved
except I didn't really buy the worm part, I thought that was a bit much but definitely can't wait to see what they will do with a movie. I started
but I just picked up
so I can't decide if I want to read that instead. I'm trying to do a bit of a themed October since Halloween has always been a favorite of mine.
I just got to the worm part. Like, I'm literally on the page where Jack lifts up his shirt, shows them the scar and says "does that answer yer question?" So, I haven't quite formed my opinion yet about said worm, but I will definitely let you know what I think when I'm done with the book...which will probably be in an hour or two. ;)

Well...haha. I definitely understand why you didn't buy the worms. A lot of times when I read a novel and there are creatures in it, I find it hard to imagine/picture them unless the author is like, amazingly descriptive. So, my biggest issue was that the thing that I pictured based on the descriptions looks really funny. I couldn't really identify them with anything in the real world and that makes them less believable. But, overall, I seriously enjoyed this book!I also just finished

Haha...that's funny. Well, I loved Shiver and Linger, but I was definitely underwhelmed with Forever. I wanted more from it. So, I can kinda indentify with you there.
I despised Torment. But, then I wasn't crazy about Fallen. Hopefully you enjoy it more than I did. It's funny because I really liked the 3rd book in the series, Passion. Because it's totally different. Anyway, let us know what you think.

I've finished
and I'm kinda speechless. I have seriously been in need of good fantasy. This author is a great storyteller. I loved every minute of it. I don't normally fly through 5o0 pagers, but this book was seriously hard to put down and I can't wait to get the next book!
I finished Glow and The Death Cure. Glow was OK, but the Death Cure was great! Read it in a day - it kinda felt too short, I wanted more to happen, but I guess I'll take what I can get. Not sure what to read now.
Deat Cure was definitely great!! Totally agree! It ended how I felt it should've been from the middle of The Scorch Trials. Awesome!I just started The Eleventh Plague and love how the words flow. Can't wait to get through more of it.
Kinda off subject here, but has anyone read Graceling and Fire (how do you guys get the book covers to show up here?)? Those are amazing fantasies.

Amanda - HA!! True. It is a Torment. ;). They all drive you nuts in that one. Thanks for the help. I'll try to find it next time.
HAHA...Amanda, I couldn't agree more. I think the fourth book should be called TORTURE! Strangely enough, I will admit that I actually enjoyed the third book, Passion. It was very different from the first two. But, I hated Torment. Carey - I just read the Eleventh Plague. It wasn't great, for me, but it was a good story. Not the best or most creative PA, but it definitely wasn't bad. And I love Graceling. It was one of the first books I came across when I got into this whole 'reading' thing. I love it. Didn't care as much for Fire. However, the third book,
is coming out soon and I'm quite ecstatic about that one.

Yeah, I think I'm forming the same opinion. So far I like this one better.
The Eleventh Plague seemed more real to me. I really liked the feeling of the rhythm. It wasn't as good as Hunger Games, etc...but I liked it

I'm currently reading

. The Iron Knight, fourth in the Iron Fey series, makes me want to keep reading even though my eyes are burning for me to stop. Everything I expected so far and more. The Ask and the Answer, sequel to
, is awesome. So far, it's twisted my feelings just as it does Todd and Viola's. It's different from anything I've ever read and I like when a book makes you uncertain and it's unpredictable. I'm curious to see where it's heading, and it bums me out that it kept being not chosen as a book of the month.

, it was pretty interesting but not really what I was expecting. Bethany, I'm not sure you would enjoy it, unless you like history books. It's exactly what the title says it is "An Oral History of the Zombie War" lol. So unless you like books like that I probably wouldn't read it.

amazing?!?! That one is definitely going to stick with me forever. I'm glad others are just discovering it like me. I hope they re-issue a hardback version with a new beautiful cover someday so I can buy it. I haven't moved on to the others in the series yet. I'm worried it will wreck the perfectness. What if they are not as good? What if my favorite characters are old and I can't handle it? Ha ha! But I will get there eventually. Marillier is a genius.

Haha, you're so funny. I will tell you that the second book was really amazing..I may have even enjoyed it more than the first, but the third book dissapointed me a little. In the second book Sorcha and Red are older and the story is actually about their children, but it is really, REALLY good! I highly recommend that you read it. I wanna read Cybele's Secret and Wildwood Dancing next. I agree, Juliet Marillier is an awesome fantasy writer!!

Yay...I'm excited! Anna dressed in Blood sounds so good. I actually read the first couple chaps of S&B. I got the sample on my Nook and it seemed very promising. I've heard so many good reveiws about that book that I will definitely read it.
I just finished Destined...which was so good. Loved it so much more than all the other House of Night books. And now reading The Iron Knight. Ah, Ash and Puck. Can't get enough of those two.

which was great. It is not a serious zombie book by any stretch of the imagination so don't expect an airtight plot or angsty philosophizing about the nature of humanity. This is just fluffy, gory, B-movie, can-the-nerdy-girl-save-the-jocks-from-becoming-zombies fun. Good if you want to laugh your butt off for three hours.
I just finished Matched. It's plot was rather similar to The Giver, imho. I did like it, I hope Crossed is better, though. I just started Anna Dressed in Blood.
Hi everyone - I just started Helper12 by Jack Blaine. So far - it is pretty interesting. The last book I read was the Galahad Series by Dom Testa - starting with The Comet's Curse---great series!
I'm reading Tiger's Voyage and LOVING it! But I do love this series. And the new character, Wes, is yummy and hilarious!!! :D
