I hadn't heard of that one, so I looked up up. It's along those lines. But I don't believe it's that one. There were quite a few non-Medieval themed pages. I believe it was only the one Medieval themed page.
I'm not remembering them that well since this was ages ago, but it could it be the series of "search" books by Tony Tallarico?
Sadly, I don't think those are it either. I'm roughly familiar with Tony' Tallarico's books. I know it wasn't a "Search & Find" brand book by Tallarico.
Could you be looking for the I Spy books by Jean Marzollo and Walter Wick? I Spy Mystery: A Book of Picture Riddles
I Spy: Fun House A Book Of Picture Riddles: Fun House A Book Of Picture Riddles
I Spy Treasure Hunt
I know it wasn't an I Spy book. It was more of a big photo of an environment (a room or a forest, etc.) where you had to look for items rather than the I Spy books, where everything looks alike.
Dj wrote: "Hmmm... seems like this one's a little tough! Any other ideas?"Dj, Not necessarily. Members here have found books for me and others months and even years after original posting. Many books are not found in the first week or two, partly because not all members check this group frequently and partly because we're always getting new members who might recognize books existing members have not. Or, something might all of a sudden refresh someone's memory.
It's wonderful when books are found almost immediately, but that's not the norm. But, most books are eventually found.
O M F G! i guess i found it! (and i am EXTREMELY excited because i'm looking for this for about a year, and i'm brazilian! yay! \o/\o/)i guess we were looking for the PUZZLE ADVENTURES from USBORNE children's books: http://www.usborne.com/catalogue/cata...
if not, then must be the YOUND PUZZLES ADVENTURES: http://www.usborne.com/catalogue/cata... or the YOUNG PUZZLES: http://www.usborne.com/catalogue/cata...
is it?
Sadly, I haven't seen it come accross yet. It's not one of the USBorne books. I think my mother may have purchased it from one of the book fair paper book orders we used to get in school (Scholastic?) One of those.
Too bad c. akemi didn't actually find it like s/he thought s/he had. oh well, at least now this thread should have moved to the top of the list for a while. Maybe someone will see it here and know your book.
Might be something by Graham Baese. I don't remember his books having multiple stories, but I've only read two of them.
Not any of the Stephen Biesty books by any chance?
Pretty sure you are asking about one of these:For Eagle Eyes Only
More for Eagle Eyes
Both are by Rolf Heimann
I've spent the past month trying to find the name of these books myself. It's how I found this discussion.
EEEP. Thank you c.akemi!!! I came here thinking maybe DJ was talking about the book I've been trying to find and your suggestion was it. So happy right now and grateful. :)
This really brings back a few snap shot memories for me. I must have been 5 or 6, sometime in the early 90's. I believe I also owned these books. Actually the reason I found this thread is due to a Google search looking for them.My mom is convinced we ordered them through those little paper 3 or 4 page scholastic ad books the teacher would hand out once a month. I remember the themes and I'm not sure if it was the entire book or just a page, they had like a Christmas theme and other holidays. For some reason the Easter theme stands out in my mind. I do also remember the room full presents page as well.
I would love to by these for my little niece. She would be quite thrilled with them.
After searching for awhile, I finally found the books I was speaking of, It was a series already mentioned here calledWHERE ARE THEY by Tony Tallarico. Sorry I couldn't help more.
dragon quest by Andy Dixon and Nick Harris?!I came across this question while looking for this book myself so i sure hope it is the one you were looking for too even if its years later

I remember that one of the pages was like a room full of gifts for a child's birthday and it provided a list of things to find on the pages.
Another page was a jungle and you had to find a specific flower to help the character with the flower which would provide an antidote to a disease he is trying to solve.
Another page looked like a castle-type village, and showed the inside of something like a blacksmith's shop that had a trap door and showed someone trapped in a room under the floor. The objective of this page was to find various items to help the prisoner escape.
Not sure if this is enough info, but I'm happy to help with what little else I can remember.
