My toddler is a visual learner and loves all of the I Spy books. She always has one or two checked out from the library. They have been great vocabulary builders for her because there are so many items in the pictures that I would not otherwise think to show her. I do not usually read the text to her. We enjoy talking about what she sees, or I will randomly choose things to tell her I spy, and she looks for them. Sometimes, we will look for the items listed in the text together.

The photography that accompanies Jean Marzollo's riddles in this book borders on brilliant.
Walter Wick has created quite a few of these unique picture books, but his creativity continues to burn pure and true, seeming to step up in intensity with each acclaimed new entry to the series. The puzzles in I Spy Mystery are excellently worked and thought-provoking.

This book was dope. The pictures are like haunting spectres that remind me of my youth... Their hazy quality reminds me of a simpler time that at this point I'm not quite sure even happened.
Would recommend.

I loved these books whenever I was in Elementary school.
It kept me busy and made me use my noggin.

So if you're trying to work and your kids on getting on your nerves, plop them on the couch with one of these. =D

This is undoubtedly my favorite picture/activity book series for children, and this particular book is one of the better series entries, in part because of the extra riddles and challenges at the end. Recommended!

I love these books of puzzles. Can you pick out the various objects hidden in the scene? They were a challenge for my husband after his first two strokes, but he really liked them. Excellent practice.

I have always loved the eye spy books. It is so fun to look for stuff and examine the page. This book is really good for children that are hyper active because it helps them focus in a fun way. This is a good book for children that I think they will all love!

Brilliant photography. We do get tired of the business of finding things, though.

Our girls like searching for the items and pointing out the neat things they find. At least this one isn't creepy, like the one with the clowns!
