Lianne (eclecticreading) I am currently reading Ian McEwan's Saturday (it's all right so far but I'm finding it a bit slower in comparison to Atonement and Amsterdam) and Niall Ferguson's The Ascent of Money: A Financial History of the World (interesting read, especially as I don't know much about the history of commerce and the like)

Beth Knight (zazaknittycat) I just picked up The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough. I had started reading it a few months ago but put it down because I got wrapped up in other books I was reading for various GR group reads.

It's a very good book, I enjoyed it. In the beginning, it might seem slow and strange and plain, but trust me, it gets better. =)

I have the book sitting on my shelf!! So much to read, so little time in a day.. I wish we had that extra hour, as in Midnighters, so we would be able to do more things.

Thanks, I finished reading it the other day and it was pretty awesome =D

I am currently reading Tom Harper's The Book of Secrets but I've also been re-reading Elizabeth Gaskell's North and South---it's been a while since I've read it =)

galya I Am America: And So Can You!. I love that man, but I'd rather listen to his book (as it was originally "written"), rather than just read it. It seems kind of boring without his tone of voice and pauses.
