*Ash* (ashdex) I think I'm just going to see how many books I can read throughout the year 2011. I'm looking forward to this. I don't want to give myself any limits this year, I just want to go with it.

Christina's Book Chronicles (christinasbookchronicles) Whats your record in one year so far?

*Ash* (ashdex) i think i read about 200 this year. Perhaps I'll shoot for 250. I'm not sure. I just think it'll be interesting to see how many I can get through.

Christina's Book Chronicles (christinasbookchronicles) Wow! Thats amazing. I'm afraid I'm going to struggle with 33! :-P Good luck! Will you be posting your books here as you go? If so, looking forward to your selections. Happy reading :)

*Ash* (ashdex) yes i will be posting as i go... probably weekly or bi-weekly. I'm also interested in what I will read. I seem to go through phases... it can be frustrating and confusing, but a whole lot of fun as well :-)

Christina's Book Chronicles (christinasbookchronicles) I know what you mean. There are a million books I want to read but I never know what I'm going to feel like reading at the time. Sometimes when I am really indecisive I will read upto 3 at a time so I can pick what mood I'm in each moment. I'm hoping that since I have an actual list for 2011 that will help me stick to the books I've chosen :)

*Ash* (ashdex) I don't think I've ever attempted to read 3 at a time. I have started books and then find I can't get into it so I'll put it down to be picked back up months down the line. I couldn't just read one genre constantly... I think that would drive me insane. The librarians all have great suggestions which helps me when I've finished with whatever author I was reading at the time. I love the suggestions they come up with! Making a list is good, but I also love going to the library and just picking up some random book; I find thats the way I discover author's I probably wouldn't have thought about.

Christina's Book Chronicles (christinasbookchronicles) Definitely. I think I might just try asking one day. Thanks for the tip :)
