Melissa Aurora Jayne Wilson (AuroraTwistedPrincess) | 1 comments Hi, I'm Melissa! I love paranormal romance and dark fantasy fiction. My favorite authors are Gena Showalter and J.R.Ward. I'd love to find a new series to read as I go through them so quickly.

I love Gena Showalter too!

Hey everyone! Just call me Pickles. I love SciFi and all kinds of fantasy. Favourite authors would include Patrick Ness, John Flanagan, Suzanne Collins, John Green, and Cassandra Clare. I'd like some suggestions on what to read. Please help me out :) Thanks everyone!

message 357: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie Bolen (jadeaaustin) Hi,
My name is Stephanie, *hi Stephanie* and I am addicted to books . No seriously, I read a book a day. and when there is nothing on my kindle to read or when I don't have any books I'm interested in that's really something to cry about. I like PNR and UF because romances get boring and formulaic. How people deal with their supernatural aspects and show their world is always something I pay attention to. I love the obscure and obserd, Simon R. Green.

message 358: by Renee (new)

Renee (sassi73) | 2 comments Hi, I'm Renee.
I will read almost anything (except horror), but lately I tend to lean towards the paranormal/UF books. My current author obsession is Patricia Briggs & her Mercy Thompson & A & O books. I also love, JR Ward, Gena Showalter, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Karen Marie Moning & Darynda Jnnes just to name a few ;)
You're my "first" group, I found you through a friend...I'm always looking for new authors to read!

message 371: by Sue (new)

Sue (suecakes) | 15 comments Hi~ I am Susanne, and I got to this group via the books of Kim Harrison. I really hope to find more books that interest me, since soon I'll have caught up to the hollows' series and then I need something else to read. I don't really know what to say further, so, yes. Nice to meet you all!

message 372: by Kimber (new)

Kimber (kimmiegoddess) | 3 comments Hi Susanne! I love the Hollows series! Have you read any of Kim Harrison's other books?

message 373: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments Welcome Susanne & Kimber!! I must say I've started collecting the Hollows books but haven't started them yet :D

There are plenty more books and authors to enjoy. To find some new authors, why not join the January challenge and use Kim Harrison as your favourite author in the Literature Map.

message 374: by Amber (new)

Amber Center | 9 comments I love love all those authors. I don't get to use my goodreads as much as I'd like because of kids and crochet but its always a good resource to turn to. Welcome!

message 375: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments Welcome Amber! Hope you can pop in to goodreads and WYA more frequently :)

message 376: by Alisa (new)

Alisa Welcome to you all! This will a great spot for you to find new authors to read. Kim Harrison's Hollow series was the one that got my pnr/uf addiction going. (there's a strong possibility that I'm still emotionally traumatized from that series). If you like that series you should try the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews

Martina | 8 comments Hi Everyone.
Im Martina. I come from Sweden and live in Holland. I love to read more or less everything. Paranormal, fantasy and sci-fy is favourites but i do like to mix with classics and other genres also.

Sue (suecakes) | 15 comments @Kimber, sadly enough, not yet. I just happened to stumble upon her in the library, read the third book of the hollows series in Dutch. I liked it so much that I decided to start the series, but then in English.

@Alisa I'll see if I can find that series!

message 379: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments Welcome Martina, you'll find a lot of us read across a lot of different genres, especially, fantasy, scifi and mystery. So you certainly aren't alone here :)

Alisa Hi Kathy! Glad to have you. If you're pressed for time check out our "what are you reading" section. You can see all the books that people are reading & what they think about them. It will help you narrow down what you want to read since you're time is limited. I know when I was a student I didn't have any time OR any money....lol So keep an eye on the free & cheap reads section too.

message 398: by Stefani (new)

Stefani Robinson (steffiebaby140) | 30 comments Hi everyone, I'm Stefani. You can call me either Stef or Stefani, either one is fine. I was invited to the group by Lisarenee, who I am in another group with too. PNR and UF (either YA or not) are two of my favorite genres, so this is a perfect group for me.

Let's see, what else about me....um, I'm kind of boring actually lol. I am engaged, no kids, no furry kids. I currently live in the San Francisco Bay area but I am planning on moving to Arizona in a few months. I have a book review blog that I just started being invested in, I read as much as I can, and I love to write and hope to do it professionally eventually.

I look forward to meeting everyone.
