I think you will find some cool authors here. Happy hunting!
Hi, I'm Melissa! I love paranormal romance and dark fantasy fiction. My favorite authors are Gena Showalter and J.R.Ward. I'd love to find a new series to read as I go through them so quickly.
Hey everyone! Just call me Pickles. I love SciFi and all kinds of fantasy. Favourite authors would include Patrick Ness, John Flanagan, Suzanne Collins, John Green, and Cassandra Clare. I'd like some suggestions on what to read. Please help me out :) Thanks everyone!
Hi,My name is Stephanie, *hi Stephanie* and I am addicted to books . No seriously, I read a book a day. and when there is nothing on my kindle to read or when I don't have any books I'm interested in that's really something to cry about. I like PNR and UF because romances get boring and formulaic. How people deal with their supernatural aspects and show their world is always something I pay attention to. I love the obscure and obserd, Simon R. Green.
Hi, I'm Renee. I will read almost anything (except horror), but lately I tend to lean towards the paranormal/UF books. My current author obsession is Patricia Briggs & her Mercy Thompson & A & O books. I also love, JR Ward, Gena Showalter, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Karen Marie Moning & Darynda Jnnes just to name a few ;)
You're my "first" group, I found you through a friend...I'm always looking for new authors to read!
Hai,I'm Josephine. I live in Holland and I love fiction books. I'm a great fan of the Hush, Hush series, Beautiful creatures and The Dark Age from Markus Heitz.
I love this site because I have found more books I'd like to read!
Hi ALLRobin Leigh Morgan from NY State. Retired. Married. No children. Right now I'm waiting to received my PROOF COPY of my debut novel, a YA Paranormal/Time Travel/First Kiss romance, entitled "I Kissed a Ghost".
I anxious to hold it next to my heart and to inhale the luscious aroma of the ink on those freshly printed pages; so I can give my final approval, and have the book I've given "birth" to be finally released to the hands of my readers.
Hi MerindaI just love when people give me gift cards especially for amazon!! Welcome to the group and goodreads, personally I love this site!
A major change occurred yesterday to my status. Yesterday I finally became an author when my debut novel, a YA Paranormal/Time Travel/First Kiss romance novel, entitled "I Kissed a Ghost" got released. My book is now available on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/Kissed-Ghost-Ro...
It’s also available on Amazon.co.uk

Howdy! My name is Kimber. I'm from Houston, TX. I've had a goodreads account for a few years but this is my first time to ever really use it. I'm always looking for suggestions for new books and people who share my love for them. I'm a huge fan of Laurell K. Hamilton, Patricia Briggs, Kim Harrison, and many more. Look forward to chatting with many of you. Hope you all have a Happy New Years!
Hi~ I am Susanne, and I got to this group via the books of Kim Harrison. I really hope to find more books that interest me, since soon I'll have caught up to the hollows' series and then I need something else to read. I don't really know what to say further, so, yes. Nice to meet you all!
Welcome Susanne & Kimber!! I must say I've started collecting the Hollows books but haven't started them yet :DThere are plenty more books and authors to enjoy. To find some new authors, why not join the January challenge and use Kim Harrison as your favourite author in the Literature Map.
I love love all those authors. I don't get to use my goodreads as much as I'd like because of kids and crochet but its always a good resource to turn to. Welcome!
Welcome to you all! This will a great spot for you to find new authors to read. Kim Harrison's Hollow series was the one that got my pnr/uf addiction going. (there's a strong possibility that I'm still emotionally traumatized from that series). If you like that series you should try the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews.
Hi Everyone. Im Martina. I come from Sweden and live in Holland. I love to read more or less everything. Paranormal, fantasy and sci-fy is favourites but i do like to mix with classics and other genres also.
@Kimber, sadly enough, not yet. I just happened to stumble upon her in the library, read the third book of the hollows series in Dutch. I liked it so much that I decided to start the series, but then in English.@Alisa I'll see if I can find that series!
Welcome Martina, you'll find a lot of us read across a lot of different genres, especially, fantasy, scifi and mystery. So you certainly aren't alone here :)

Have you ever tried Steampunk? There are a couple which combine Paranormal and Sci-Fi.
Lisarenee, I have tried some steampunk but ben disapointed so far. I like historical and sci-fi so steampunk sounds perfect right :). The ones I read i havent liked the laungage in in, have felt like pretend to be historical sort of. If that makes any sense.

Hi Kathy! Glad to have you. If you're pressed for time check out our "what are you reading" section. You can see all the books that people are reading & what they think about them. It will help you narrow down what you want to read since you're time is limited. I know when I was a student I didn't have any time OR any money....lol So keep an eye on the free & cheap reads section too.

Wow! You have a lot going on. I have three but none are under 5. My youngest is 8.
I am looking forward to 8! I hear they get easier than harder yet as teens lol. Thank you for the welcome!
Hi everyone, I'm Stefani. You can call me either Stef or Stefani, either one is fine. I was invited to the group by Lisarenee, who I am in another group with too. PNR and UF (either YA or not) are two of my favorite genres, so this is a perfect group for me. Let's see, what else about me....um, I'm kind of boring actually lol. I am engaged, no kids, no furry kids. I currently live in the San Francisco Bay area but I am planning on moving to Arizona in a few months. I have a book review blog that I just started being invested in, I read as much as I can, and I love to write and hope to do it professionally eventually.
I look forward to meeting everyone.
