Introduce Yourself - Part Deux!
Welcome Suzie! Looks like I'll have to go looking for Josephine McNabb, always like hearing about new-to-me authors :)ETA: Fixed the book record, liked the sound of it, so I've bought it :)
Good.. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.. I hope she releases her next one soon! I NEED to know what happens!! Haha
Waves hi to Danielle *waves* Welcome to the group, many of us also read across the genres. You're sure to find something interesting here :)
Hi my name is Jessica. And I'm new to the group. My favorite authors are Nalini Singh christine freshman, j.r. Ward, Shelly laurenston sherrilyn Kenyon are among the few.
Welcome Jessica! You named some of my favourites as well, but I haven't heard of Christine Freshman, so off to have a look at her ;)ETA: Couldn't find her. Did you mean Christine Feehan?
Hi my name is Kasey and I'm definitely a read-aholic (UF and PNR mostly)! A few of my favorite authors are:Karen Marie Moning
Jeannine Frost
Patricia Briggs
Karen Chance
Kalayna Price
Dannika Dark
Thea Harrison
...yeah I could probably go on for a few pages but those are some of my top! Once I find a book/series that I like I'm a re-reader (especially when a new book comes out!). Well, I'm looking forward to the discussions and particularly the recommendations - I need some new books to love!
Welcome Kasey! You shouldn't have any trouble finding new books to love around here :)And I'm a re-reader as well. If I love something I have no problem reading it again, and again. LOL
Hi everyone. New member here but after taking a peek at the profile I knew this would be the place for me1 I LOVE Urban Fantasy and Paranormal books. My top favorite series is The Hollows by Kim Harrison but I love all of the top series like Kate Daniels, Fever, Dresden Files, Mercy Thompson, etc. I do a lot of reviewing and usually post them here on goodreads as well as on my blog:http://www.YourUrbanFantasy.com/
I look forward to posting with you guys!
Welcome VampireNovelFan! Great name :)Hopefully, you can find some new favs, as well as telling us some newbies to look out for ;)
Hi VampireNovelFanWelcome to the group! I love The Hallows/Rachel Morgan kind of bummed it is coming to an end
Thanks Sandra and Dawn! I definitely plan to keep on reading! And sure thing on the newbies. So many ARCs have been coming my way! I'm reading Queen of the Tearling right now and it's pretty good. Dawn I'm bummed it's over too. I read the ARC a week ago but Kim Harrison omitted the epilogue to keep the end from being leaked too soon. It's a good read though, but I was in a weird place about it because...that's it!
Thanks for adding me to your group! I'm a big fan of Karen Marie Moning's, Fever Fae Series. I'll read anything similar, but am having trouble finding them. Still waiting for Ms. Moning to publish her next book in the series...it's been two years plus! If you've read this series, please recommend similar books. Ty.
Are any of your favs similar to Karen Marie Moning's Fever Fae series? Love them!!!Kasey wrote: "Hi my name is Kasey and I'm definitely a read-aholic (UF and PNR mostly)! A few of my favorite authors are:

Welcome to the group!
I am sure you will find a ton of things to read here, personally I sometimes wonder if I will ever catch up with my TBR pile ...which I think is a good thing :-)
As for your request most people in the group will not see that here so you can create a topic and post it here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...
There have already been a few suggestion threads in the discussion post already.
***edit***
I almost forgot this is an awesome listopia which has amazing books in UF/PNR

Let me know if you need any additional assistance.
Thank you Dawn, for your warm welcome! I doubt any of us 'avid' readers, ever catches up :). Honestly, I could spend the whole day reading, but my eyes are revolting! A chatter told me about "Voice Stream" which reads the text. I am going to load and try it, but I still like reading better than listening. The new glasses are a big help,..just got them, so I am ready to go! I will post on the link that you provided. Again, thank you for your help!

Glasses are a huge must for me I read a lot for work and for pleasure. I used to forget but the evening headache from eye strain prompted me to do better lol.
Have you tried audio books?? I am really slow with them but the narration and so forth is really nice.
Kathy, The Fever Series is my FAVORITE. I am in love with Jericho Barrons lol. I have not found anything similar, she is one of a kind. Let me know if you do!Kathy wrote: "Thanks for adding me to your group! I'm a big fan of Karen Marie Moning's, Fever Fae Series. I'll read anything similar, but am having trouble finding them. Hi everyone, I just joined the group. Some of my favorite authors are Charlaine Harris, Laurell K. Hamilton, Karen Marie Moning, Patricia Briggs, Anne Bishop, Richelle Mead... I look forward to interacting with you all, and sharing some great books! :)
welcome to the little group of horrors April - nah, just kidding. I had too much caffeine this morning and I thought it would be a good idea to navigate GR seeing as I can't stay put with a book :)If you're up for some reading challenges check out our monthly Hello/Goodbyes in the, er, Monthly Challenges folder. For something a little moore sedate, or a potential change from the norm, head on over to our Author & Book of the Month.
Once again, welcome April :)

Hi everyone. I just finished book 2 of elemental assassins and then I saw this group has been reading it. Yea. I read lots of urban fantasy, pnr, any kind or romance basically. Looking forward to chatting with you guys. I'm from the middle-of-no-where Texas and have way to many pets. Trying hard not to be the crazy dog lady. I was fine with my 3 big labs until I took the two chihuahua in for a rescue. And they aren't going anywhere now.
Hi Oleander Middle of no where Texas :-) I have never heard it described that way before.
Welcome to WYA
So tell me does the chihuahua run the labs around :-)
Hello everyone. I found this group and thought it would be good to join as it is about my favorite genre. I'm Ryan :)
Oleander wrote: "Hi Dawn. Yes the chi think they are the biggest bad asses. heehee. so cute."LOL how cute
Hello everyone my name is Stacey and I am glad there is a group that I can discuss my favorite genre with.
hi my name is crystal I am a mother of three boys and books are my escape. I have always loved these books and have been reading PNR since I was a kid. right now I am reading Pamela Palmer, Karen Chance, and just finished the Sookie Stackhouse books. I am hoping to find new authors and people to discuss the books with that are over the age of 8 yrs.
LOL. Crystal, I can guarantee we're all over 8 yrs old and we love talking books. Karen Chance is a fav of mine and I'm about half way through PP's Feral Warriors. Enough said about Sookie :( You're sure to find new book boyfriends here.
Hi I'm Julia, author of Forever Tainted, the paranormal romance trilogy...
Hello, My name is Louis or here I'm known as LDWriter2 since Louis was taken already, I just joined Goodreads for my new E-novel, but decided to join a couple of groups while I am at. My favorite genre is UF--with a side of paranormal, even though I read Science Fiction and fantasy too. Hmm, not sure if my mention of me having an E-novel would be considered self-promotion, but that is the reason I am here.
In either case, I may not check in a lot since I am busy, but I love to discuss UF authors. I have a few favorites, including a couple that do not get a lot of publicity. I love pushing them because I think they are worthy of a read or two.
I have read a couple of the books now being read by the group and they are good ones.
Welcome L... you mentioning that you are an author is not self promotion... it's what you do!If you do want to promote your book please use the self promotion section. Great to meet you and looking forward to chatting with you.
Hello all :) I'm new!! Loving Kim Harrison (and dreading saying goodbye to Rachel this September!), super into Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series (made a topic about it in UF authors), and honestly still discovering a lot of the genre. Kim Harrison got me started - well, Kim Harrison & Richelle Mead's Dark Swan books. Looking forward to getting some good rec's here & fun discussion :)
Hi He110Ne0 Welcome to the group. I know what you mean about Rachel on the one hand it is time to end the series on a high point but at the same time maybe just one more book lol.
You know I read the first one in Yellowrock series and I did enjoy it. I am not quite sure why I have not caught myself up in that series.
I am sure we will extend your TBR pile to ridiculous new heights.

I'm Suzie. I love reading, if I could get paid doing it for a living I would be delighted. I love paranormal and urban fantasy,Kresley Cole, J.R. Ward, Kelley Armstrong, Rachel Vincent, to name but a few. I recently came across a new book out called Fire and Fangs by a woman named Josephine Mc Nabb... I devoured it in almost three days and can't wait for more from her.
Just thought I would introduce myself and give a little on my reading background. :)
