Welcome Danielle! You may be my long lost sister. We like the same authors. :)
Hi, I've joined a while back but I've mostly been lurking. My name is Tara, and my favorite authors are Nalini Singh, Christine Feehan and Kresley Cole.
And yes, I'm also an author. I write erotic romance. The last two happened to be PNR, probably because I read lots of it :-)

Welcome Tara and thanks for finally saying hi. :)
Hello,My name is Erica and I literally just discovered this group and joined lol. Anyway I love to read and love to pass on that passion. I recently started a book exchange at my work and it seems to be doing pretty well.
I read pretty much everything. But I especially have a weakness for Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy books. Some of my favorite authors as of right now include Kim Harrison (who i have had the honor of meeting twice now), Kelly Armstrong, and Jeanine Frost. But I'm looking forward to discovering some new favorites.
Hi EricaThat is awesome that you started a local book exchange!! I feel like books and stories are meant to be shared :-)
I am sure you will find plenty of new authors if you need a place to start please check out our meet the mods section

Hi everyone!
I saw Alisa Mods this group so Hi!
I'm an avid Adult PNR/UF reader, although I've been diggin in some NAs lately trying to figure out where this grouping fits. I like to read new authors while waiting for my favs: Singh, DB Reynolds, Ilone, Ward, Dohner, Frost, etc...
My fav PNRs are of the dark side.
I also read Dark Erotica and heavy kink if I read contemporaries.
Off to stroll your board

Thank you for the warm welcome. I feel the same way about books needing to be shared. That's why i started the book exchange at my work. i work for a Head Start which is a low income preschool, and i felt like having the free books at the parent's disposal would be good, as they may not be able to afford books.

That's a great idea!
Good on you Erica, that's a fabulous idea, and maybe one of the parents will discover a great passion for books also.
H everyone, my name is Kathy. I read so much urban fantasy and paranormal romance that it is sometimes hard for me to keep plot lines and authors straight. I was introduced to the genre almost a decade ago when I was managing at a Media Play store. My first serious urban fantasy author was Laurell K Hamilton back when the Anita Blake series was still good. I couldn't pick one favorite author but I do love Kim Harrrison, Patricia Briggs, and Darynda Jones mainly because they don't get to caught up in the romance and always make me smile.
Welcome Kitty and Kathy.Kitty: I love finding new authors!!
Kathy: I know exactly what you mean about keeping plot lines straight which is why I have taken to writing reviews lol something to job my memory.
Hi! New to the group and very much looking forward to some great new UF & PNR authors. I'm currently reading Jaye Wells - pretty good so far. I work from home and own my own business so I can sneak in a book break occasionally. I got my start reading UF from recommendations from good reads - I'm really excited to be a part of the group - thanks for creating it!
Hey LaurenWelcome to the group! There are so many great UF/PNR authors out there, it will keep your tbr list super long :-)
Again welcome and happy reading!
Hello everyone. I'm just learning the ropes of Groups on goodreads but it looks like a ton of fun. I recently learned I'm a paranormal/urban fantasy junkie and writer. I don't think there's a cure for it and frankly if there was I wouldn't take it. :)Anyway my all time fav author is Kim Harrison.
I look forward to getting to know you all better, or at least a few of you. :)

Hoping to find some new series books cause I'm running out of good series to read and have to keep waiting for a new book. Boo! Can't wait to start playing around and see what everyone is reading!
Happy reading!
HI all, I'm Margarita! Been on goodreads for a while but have only recently gotten back into it. I'm looking to chat books, find out who likes what and what they like about it. I tried to join a book club in the 'real world' once or twice but they kept picking books I didn't like and then I'd just have to SLOG through something I didn't enjoy. I'm so glad for goodreads and genre focused groups where I can chat with lovers of the same books! Looking forward to chatting with you all!
Hi Jennifer & Margarita!!I'm sure you'll both find new books to read. And we don't make you read ones you don't want to. LOL.
