Just finished the couple next door by Shari Lapena. It was a really gripping read. I totally recommend it if you wanna to read a great thriller.
I've just started Nevernight by Jay Kristoff.
What are you guys reading?? 📖 📚

message 852: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Currently reading Children of Time. I am reading it on kindle so didn't realise how long it is before I started. I think I would have been put off but I am thoroughly enjoying it so far.

I read Sleeping Giants earlier this year. I thought some of the plot was a bit far fetched however I did really enjoy it and I think I will read the sequel at some point.

message 861: by Elisabeth (new)

Elisabeth Clare | 2 comments An unexpected interest/pleasure is the feedback I am getting on my debut novel: The Stealing. It's provoking much discussion which is what I hoped for. Did Ruth do right or wrong? Or is it not quite as simple as that? The Stealing

The Stealing
I did not expect so many people to comment that it was unputdownable...that really pleases me.

Craig Jarvis (cj76) | 25 comments I’ve just finished The Impossible Fortress by Jason Rekulak and I’m recommending it to everyone... I was 14 in 1987, same as Will Alf and Clarke, so the movie and song references, as well as crackpot schemes to get our hands on certain magazines is a nostalgic trip back to my youth 👍👌
I’ve just started Dark Pines by Will Dean, this is very atmospheric, set in a small Swedish town called Gavrik a deaf journalist working for a local paper is caught up in the murders of a couple of locals who have had their eyes removed, which seams to link back to some unsolved murders from the 1990’s...

message 898: by Craig (new)

Craig Jarvis (cj76) | 25 comments Just started The Stand by Stephen King, I’ve read and enjoyed lots of his books over the years but despite reading door stoppers like IT and Under the Dome, I hadn’t previously picked up this one... I’m only @ 300 pages into it and still have 1000+ more to go but I am really enjoying it. Typical King with well fleshed out characters and immersive story
